Mitch Trubisky was a Pro Bowler so what's your point? I already said he is good. But again the Chiefs refused his demands and signed Taylor and no one has met his asking price. Why do you think that is?

Tunsil's pass block grade was 91 and led the NFL. His pass block efficiency was 3rd in NFL. That is elite.

Brown's pass block grade was 23rd and his pass block efficiency was 50th. He simply isnt as good as yall are making it seem.
When have I said he’s worth the money he’s demanding? When have I said the chiefs should sign him? When have I said the bears should give him whatever he wants?

All I’ve said is he would be a huge upgrade. That’s simply it.

Never said he is better than Tunsil. Never compared him to anyone.

Just saying he’s good apparently means I’m dumb because hey RAS score based on combine performance herp derp

The Patriots refused to sign Akiem Hicks to a long term deal as well and the Bears capitalized on it. Sometimes organizations get it wrong.

Who cares who drops to 9. Gets the best available OL or DL. Whichever ranks highest. And keep going. We ain’t fixing this whole team in one draft. We will have to wait until next year and probably another year to get the team to a decent quality playing team. That’s if draft picks pan out.
You are simultaneously acknowledging they can't get everything in one season, and suggesting they draft for specific position(s) and disregard best available. Seems contradictory.

They offered him a crazy good contract last season and he turned it on. They moved on and it doesn’t look like he’s getting what he wants rn.
This. I fully agree with any sentiment that he is not worth the MASSIVE deal he is demanding. Sure, he might even be better at RT than LT.

This does not mean he is a bad LT or incapable of playing the position. He’d be a massive upgrade on the bears at LT unless Braxton jones makes huge strides. Maybe he does, but it’s all speculation.

Where did I say you were dumb? I am saying he isnt worth what he is asking so if we agree then what is the point discussing him?

"Value Bucket" King Poles holding that 40 million like he gets to take it home.

Protect your "franchise " QB! Get some FA Edge and DL players!

Not all these needs are going to be met in the draft and you have the money now. FA so far has been affordable, many players signed for fair deals that the Bears could have easily afforded.

Anyone who has any excuses for this team this year needs to shut the **** up, they had their chances at good players for a fair price.

I just don't get it

I think he’s been over rated tackle for a long time. But posters that think he won’t improve the worse oline in the league are literally on crack

No he wouldnt be a massive upgrade over Jones except in name only. It is entirely fair for people to expect Jones builds on that performance and can be better than Brown as early as this year.
