Mack wasn't Mack. Time to move on. Would I have liked to have gotten more? Sure. But this was the best offer.
And we have some solid DEF players that can step in.This trade in general is more about freeing up cap space and grabbing another day-1 potential starter with that 2nd round pick. There is a good chance we can grab two WR's in the 2nd round that immediately can contribute for Fields.. and we can use that 6 million in cap towards building the OL in FA.
This trade to me is trading a defensive piece to build the offense. I love it.
Well either:Is Mack’s value lower than we think? I’m just trying to understand this return.
Yep.. Trevis will be more productive than people think if he steps into the starting roleAnd we have some solid DEF players that can step in.
You’re late.Let the dick ripping commence.
Nothing wrong with the trade but the return back in draft picks is awful. Frees up like $30 mill next year though correct? They can't get anymore cap relief for Mack than the $6mil. It's all bonus and restructure.
It has to be coming at some point. Now trade Quinn
