IMO…the compromise should be…like I think Jenkins is probably the best tackle on this team but his future in this system is RG.
The compromise 5(and back-up)
Jones(Reiff)-Whitehair(LW)-Patrick(Deiter)-Jenkins(Borom)-Reiff(Jenkins)
Borom is a guard. Jenkins is a RG or RT. Period. But more reps there if plan A and B goes broke won’t hurt team or player. It will mend fences if guard is truly his best spot.

They weren't v SF and GB. This was a under hand toss to get Fields some confidence going and he shit the bed.

I will say on that last scramble video, is that the read was there but the throwing lane was not.
The read required a dart to the flat and that may have been batted down, or wasn’t there looking closely at the throwing lane. It looks simple from above but not for Fields with Boroms big ass in his face. Alternatively he could have made the ever difficult sideline fade throw he may not be ready for.
His touch throws will improve as he gets comfortable in his reads.

Whether it's not trusting his eyes and taking what's there, taking unnecessary hits, or holding the ball too long/not throwing it away: he seems to be in conflict with himself at times and making things way too hard. Hopefully him, Getsy and Flus being in the same room looking at the same film again this week will get him some clarity. He might just need to take a deep breath and chill a bit.
