Mustipher LMAOOOOO
From report I read from raiders beat writer: the raiders drafted multiple OG and didn’t give leatherwood any time this season at OG. Seems they were set on their interior and due to old regime drafting leatherwood to play tackle they decided he need to play tackle (speculation). Odd they didn’t give him a single snap at guard through practice or pre season this year.Leatherwood
From Raiders beat writer Vic Tafur: “Leatherwood was moved from right tackle to right guard last season and then back to tackle this offseason. A reach as a first-round pick last year, Leatherwood had a short leash with the new regime and really struggled in the preseason games. He needs to sharpen up his hand usage, while his footwork sometimes suffers in his rush to get outside against edge rushers. It looked like he had lost all confidence as he plummeted down the depth chart, and he is probably better suited as a guard.”
Watts
From Vikings beat writer Arif Hasan: “He’s a pretty classic long-body three-technique who was asked to play a lot of nose because of his size. But he’s better suited to a pass-rushing role because of his athletic profile and instincts. He can get washed out a little bit in the run game and has been a liability there in the past — but still has improved this element of his game.”
Wesco
From Jets beat writer Zack Rosenblatt: “Wesco isn’t going to produce much offensively, but the Jets liked him for his skills as a blocker. He has the versatility to line up in the backfield as a fullback, too. A solid, veteran depth tight end who shouldn’t be relied on for much more than blocking — and Pro Football Focus had him graded as one of the better run-blocking tight ends in 2021.
Weatherford
From Colts beat writer Zak Keefer: “I actually thought he’d make the team. He’s a local guy here in Indy, small high school, scrappy linebacker who plays with speed and did some damage on special teams. Was all but assuredly headed to the Colts practice squad if he wasn’t claimed.”
Jonathan
From Bills beat writer Joe Buscaglia: “The Bills were hoping to sneak Jonathan to the practice squad by hiding him in the preseason finale until the end of the fourth quarter. He flashed with some good pass-rushing reps throughout the summer, but the Bills just didn’t have a roster spot for him. They’ll be sad to see him go. Jonathan showed some potential and could earn a role in the right system if he continues on his camp trajectory.”
Only one starter there................Watts. I think this will be a great pickup.Leatherwood

Only if the Bears are competing for the playoffs.Agreed but always good to have depth.
Only one I would want taking reps away from young guys is OBJ.
Almost sounds like the Dolphins tried to stash him and not show him much in the pre.

I think that’s exactly what they did. They gave him 20 total reps in preseason games.Almost sounds like the Dolphins tried to stash him and not show him much in the pre.
