I dont understand why they wouldn't just give him a chance to make the roster. Their oline is pretty mediocre outside of armstead
Especially when you give a UDFA 130k to sign. It doesn’t make much sense.

WHY DOES THE MEDIA HATE THE BEARS?

FIELDS #1

Yessir!!

I liked Lawrence coming out as well, but still preferred Fields over him after he annihilated Clemson. I just don’t think Lawrence has shown much, but with that goob of a head coach gone and them spending big on mid players means that Lawrence is ready to boom (apparently).

I just don’t see it. We will see if I am wrong (very possible), but I traded Lawrence away in my dynasty league. Something feels off there.

There's a guy that's not ready but could be made into something. Tall, too light and short arms but... If he builds up and increases his anchor could easily bend to help with length. May work out or not but keep em coming. Bears are grabbing potential and will try to develop starters. I love this philosophy but of course you need starters too. I was always of the opinion that most OL spots can be developed and you rotate guys in to replace others before big contracts unless the current starter is special.

I wouldn’t read anything into it. It struck me more as a “duh” …. If we needed him there then sure type of comment. As opposed to a thats part of the plan comment
Yeah, the phrase "won't rule out" basically doesn't mean anything
