They also signed Connor Williams in FA and have recent 1st (Austin Jackson) and 2nd (Hunt and Eichenberg) rounders with G/T versatility. Really no room on a team trying to compete this year as they only kept 8 OL.

If I remember correctly, eichenberg was really bad last year. Williams has steadily gotten worse over the years and Cowboys fans were pretty happy to see him go. Jackson I think was underwhelming at LT, maybe he'll be better at RT? Hunt was their best lineman before from what I've heard/read. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on any of those guys, definitely not an expert on them.

My point is they arent going to give up on 1st and 2nd rounders from a year or 2 ago for an undrafted rookie who needs to get NFL strong.

Connor was top 10 last year and only gave up 1 sack and 11 pressures.

Armstead
Eichenberg
Williams
Hunt
Jackson

Those are the starters and they only went with 3 backups so really no space for Diesch as not going to have him be the backup T at this stage in career. Hence why he is on Bears PS not active roster.
