A young QB who can take off, young team overall, plenty of draft picks, most cap space, a gm/hc who understand culture, etc.

Both the Lions and Bears have more talent at certain positions. But to say the Lions are a lot more talent is a joke. Like I’ve mentioned before, you will disappear when Fields outplays Goff and the Bears look better with “less talent”.

There is literally only one starter on the entire Bears offense that would start for the Lions.
Next year you are losing Quin and quite possibly Smith. After that your D is Meh.

There is more than one player on the Bears offense that could easily start for the Lions. However, they wouldn’t because those spots are already occupied. And vise versa.

Poles is building a young team through the draft and it’s the proper way to build a team. It’s going to take a couple years. This team will be more successful because of it.

Id easily take the Bears situation over the Lions. I think most would.
