Please tell me he was flagged and better be fined. What a *****
Does he get fined for attempts to kick and trip players while he is rolling on the ground?

Top 3 WR’s are injured and the line is injured and in shambles against a good pass rush, and they aren’t good at pass blocking even when healthy. No shit they’re gonna run heavy.

If they threw more passes in a bomb cyclone game and fields gets killed we all sit here wondering why they didn’t run the ball more.

Also does anyone have any thoughts on Pettis drops on that 3rd down play? He tried to ‘basket catch’ it instead of using his fvkn hands.

I specifically remember a play weeks ago on a slightly underthrown ball to the end zone where he tried to do this ‘basket catch’ style instead of using his hands. We were told he would’ve had to be an x men to contort his body to try to make a play on the ball.

Maybe this guy just isn’t a hands catcher? Why he always trying to basket catch??? Like wtf

I’m not high on keeping him. He’s supposed to be the possession receiver, but I don’t like his hands.

I would usually point out the cold and how hard it is to catch in extreme cold, but I just think he is a bad hands catcher. Other than his blocking, we need to move on from him.

Some guys would be better off backhanding those catches (wrong arm on top, thumbs in like when right at your head) but arm tie themselves up or get caught between which hand on top trying to do it 'correctly' even if it's not as natural to them.

He had a 59 grade in 2020 and 68 in 2021. Jenkins has an 80 grade which is 4th in the NFL. He is clearly better. And Vaiti is not clearly better than Whitehair who has better graded overall in 2020 and 2021.
yeah, if you bothered to look a little deeper, his 2020 grade "overall" is largely at RT, and I never suggested he would be a fit at that position spanky,

"

Guards

Top score: Halapoulivaati Vaitai (91.8) (preseason)

Often times, Vaitai is regarded as the weak link in the Lions starting offensive line, but part of that reputation is unfairly attributed to a guy who struggled during his first season in Detroit due to a nagging foot injury. In 2021, Vaitai posted a respectable grade on offense that placed him 25th among qualifying guards who played at least 702 snaps. On Friday, Vaitai displayed the kind of road grading he’s become known for, helping clear the way for the Lions to run for an efficient 5.3 yards per carry on the opening drive.

Jenkins might give you 8-9 games a year if your lucky.

I gave his grade last year (68) as well. Jenkins is still better with an 80 grade.

Lol Vaiti is out for the year dumbass so you cant talk about injuries and extra lol at trying to use preseason. GTFOH.
