Jenkins was FP yesterday and Whitehair took some snaps. Happy to have Jenkins back and wouldn't mind Whitehair available but sitting to see the backups.

why do you guys waste your time on this stuff? who cares what Detroit lions bloggers think? He's just another random.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Biggest strength: Justin Fields

Right now, with Lamar Jackson sidelined due to injury, Fields is the most exciting player to watch in the NFL. His ability to turn any play into a touchdown with his legs is something Lions fans are all too familiar with from their last meeting. The running quarterback Any quarterback with a set of legs has presented a huge problem for Detroit’s defense, and after the Lions abysmal performance against the run in Carolina, stopping the Bears ground game, starting with Fields, is going to be the biggest key for the Lions in this game.

Biggest weakness: Defense

At first, I had this narrowed down to the run defense itself, but there’s nothing going right for the Bears on this side of the ball at all. They don’t pressure the quarterback, they’ve lost key players in the secondary, they rank 30th in pass yards per attempt (7.7), and they have the fewest passes defended in the NFL (47). Chicago is a football team that won’t stop you on defense, so it’s up to your team to keep pace with Fields and the Bears offense in a shootout.

There is a lot of sense in there sprinkled with some laziness. The writer makes more sense than some on this board. So dismissive ...

It's more dumbass speak put out into the universe. I don't expect division rivals to be unbiased, we certainly throw shade at Rodgers despite him being a HOFer and owner of our franchise, doesn't mean we don't put him down any chance we get.

Bears fans [the large %] are thick as pig shit. Stones in glass houses.

Fields gives people hope, and bad words said against him for now continue to garner reaction because of that hope.

Next season is a biggy.

I gave his grade last year (68) as well. Jenkins is still better with an 80 grade.

LOL, Reoccurring back inquires are a different matter altogether, but, you will see soon enough.....

I can't believe how poorly some of that was handled. Even if the refs get fooled or miss it, How does his coach leave him out there? May be adding to his current susceptibility.

I’m no doctor but I’m guessing it’s harder to diagnose than us sitting at home realize

I wouldn’t rush to extend JJ. Next year is a big year for him. Need to see more ball production

Hmmm, Poles is going to have to pay someone. You could say the same thing about Mooney but replace ball production with the fact he is coming off an injury (not sure how serious it is)

With the Cap space the team has, getting a few of the better young players on the roster signed wouldn't be a bad thing, would it?

Poles has to spend this off-season to reach the cap floor. I’d rather it be on current players that already perform than the crap shoot that free agency can be.
