I=like-Mims-but-he-was-in-and-out-of-that-game-last-night-and-was-out-at-times-that-they-needed-him.Not-sure-what-the-injury/injuries-were-for-him.He-still-made-some-great-catches-last-night.

Is there any particular reason you are using hyphens now instead of spaces? New keyboard or something? Just a bit jarring to try to read.

I think the reps/experience for Fields these last couple of games has value and is important for his growth. Other than that, there’s nothing to the momentum narrative. Most of these guys won’t be here

Nope. It’s all about the 70% of the roster that won’t be here next year “learning to win”.

Duh.
The Bears winning these last 2 games would be right in line with this being a rudderless, shitty franchise. Remember the outcry when Philly threw the last game of the 2020 season but it resulted in a bundle of picks in the draft? Hoping Cunningham is in Poles & Flus’s ears about the need to lose

Part of me fully expects this and Flus to act like it’s meaningful.

This falls into the “if it’s on the Internet, it’s gotta be true” category. By the time Wilson was traded, Poles was well entrenched and had already started on his “complete rebuild” strategy. Don’t think giving up three #1s for a 33yr old QB, who was already showing obvious signs of decline, plays very well with what Poles said he was going to do and what he in fact subsequently did. Don’t understand how anyone with half a functioning brain could be gullible enough to believe something like that…

You do realize this tweet was sent LONG before Poles was hired right?

Bears should sign Mooney to have continuity on offense. It takes time to establish chemistry. I think Mooney deserves about 15 million a year.

I am not giving a guy 15m a year comimg off a major injury when speed and quickness is a large part of his game. I only shell out that amount once he proves to be healthy and productive again.

Dean is risky because he’s always had a good pass rush in front of him in Tampa. No DB will look as good without pressure.
The problem with JJ is still TOs. He wasnt getting Ints even when we had a good pass rush.
What a dumb fucking argument. Comparing two players from last year to two completely different players this year to argue which position (and player) to draft.

No elementary logic at all.
What makes it dumber is Walker plays DE like Hutch and not DT.

Both things can be true. Learning how to win and finish games is valuable. So is getting the 1st pick.

As an NFL coach overseeing the rebuild you always have to bang the table for the former while hoping the players are bad enough to result in the latter.

There are longer term consequences if you clumsily quit on a season.

Sure but what kind of realistic expectations can you have for replacing 70% of the roster in one year?

Do you think that it’s all going to “come together” with that much new personnel in one year?
