OMG I love this team! They're so plucky and quirky!
Swapping jerseys around?! That's so hilarious! hahahaha

The entire first round. There aren’t good ones worthy of our first round pick, wherever it is, in the first. So i see you say that there's no OL worth OUR pick, so you saying there's no OL worthy of the 2nd pick in the draft or the entire 1st round?

I thought it was fucking terrible and dumb the first time I heard it. It figures that it is getting discussed. File this under worst fucking ideas of all time.
I think the worst idea goes to @hub_arkush for recommending drafting qb, but keeping fields...as an rb.I thought it was fucking terrible and dumb the first time I heard it. It figures that it is getting discussed. File this under worst fucking ideas of all time.

As much as I wouldn't want to move on from fields, if you decided to draft qb, it would be incredibly dumb not to trade fields to load up on picks to build out around the qb.
For realz??What if the Bears got the #1 pick and then traded with HOU to move down one pick and then traded that to another QB needy team? Oh my, a girl can dream…
Evan’s has looked phenomenal the last month or so. But is this just another Ebron situation? Looks great one year and then bombs the next?
Your post is still a little confusing but sounds like you not only think there isn't any OL in this draft worth our 1st round pick no matter where we pick but don't think there's any 1st round worthy OL in this draft at all. That's hard to believe for me but as i always say, i'm far from a "draft expert" or anything close to it even though i do pay a ton of attention to everything about the draft even the scouting combine. The entire first round. There aren’t good ones worthy of our first round pick, wherever it is, in the first.
I’m saying our pick, even should we trade down, in the first. We have more needs than OL. There are good FA OL that can meet our needs: RT, C, LG?.
So, relative to our needs as a team and compared to what is available at DB, DL, and Bijan, I see no reason to use our high pick on what are the consensus OL 1st rounders. They just aren’t as good as what anyone should expect a first rounder to be in a given year. Let somebody else use their picks on them, not us. I guess people have hope that there’s a pick in the first round of the draft that is a plug and play LT, but there really isn’t. I think the three consensus first rounders would have all gone second round or later last year.
Wow, that's a real thinker right there. We keep our #1 or #2 pick and get the #13 pick and Q.Williams....................................
Who in the bottom half (or the whole first round) could be a better weapon for Fields? He is a dynamic back who can line up anywhere and has better hands than probably most of the wr prospects. And he can kill Ds out of the backfield.I think it's bat shit crazy personally.
But I'm sure many of you have felt that way about my ideas!
Don’t know. But they will have him on a cheap contract for 4-5 years. If Poles hasn’t constructed the roster (emphasis on theYou gonna be good with paying him somewhere around $17/$20 mil per in 4-5 years? If he's as good as we think he'll be then he's gonna get paid.
Keep Getsy........let Morgan walk....even help him out the door with his boxes. He can take Mustipher, Reif, Schofield, and Borom with him.Luke Getsy, Bears offensive coordinator
Justin Fields remains a work in progress, but Year 2 for the former Ohio State star has featured significant growth, and Getsy is a big reason for that. Leaning into Fields’ strengths as a dual-threat quarterback, Getsy designed an offense that positioned Fields to deliver historic rushing performances while also exhibiting promise as a passer. The 38-year-old former Packers quarterbacks coach and passing coordinator directs an offense that leads the NFL with 181 rushing yards per game.
Chris Morgan, Bears offensive line coach
Morgan also has played a key role in developing the Bears offense into the most imposing rushing attack in the league. Although unknown to outsiders, he has begun developing a strong reputation in NFL coaching circles. In addition to the rushing success in his first season with the Bears, Morgan coached under Kyle Shanahan in Washington and Atlanta, and played a role in the playoff runs of both teams. Morgan is expected to receive interest for offensive coordinator positions this offseason.
God you’re grossFor realz??
