He will play NB when we play nickel which is 75-80% of the time. When we are in base 4-3 then he plays on the outside.

Tavon Young is on injured reserve and believe he was placed on it before being added to 53 so is out for the year.

In addition, he is going to be a player that can follow a receiver across the field pre-snap, since he can flex between an inside and outside CB.

If he can play up to his potential, that is going to be a real boon.

Yes i understand all that, besides knowing Young was on IR, but we still used our top pick on a NB.

Don't know why they couldn't, or won't, put one of the many other DB's we have at NB even if Gordon is better their than any of them because if they drafted the right CB then he's also better than any of them at CB covering #1 and #2 WR's.

Then as mentioned earlier in this thread Cruikshank was talked about being great covering TE's and could play NB when we signed him.

We'll see i guess and it's not even for sure that Gordon will play full time NB when we're in that defense just because some writer said we will.

Bermuda over Kentucky Bluegrass? Why???? Bermuda goes dormant in the fall/winter. Mine is going dormant now. Bermuda is literally going dormant right now. This makes no sense at all. Bermuda does great in the heat, in the spring/summer, and is drought tolerant. Basically THE SOUTH. There is a reason it is a "warm weather" grass. Installing bermuda grass in Chicago DURING THE WINTER is moronic! That field is going to be a mess.
