WTF????? He is going to sit Jenkins and play Mustipher? This proves Mustipher has pictures. How is it not obvious to them when the whole world sees Mus getting shoved into Fields face most of the time. Jenkins must have really pissed them off. Sit your best lineman to allow a crappy scrub to play.

Makes zero sense.
Maybe it's the fans that are wrong and not two different entire offensive coaching staffs and front offices?? Hmmmmmmmm

And your argument greatly bends the context of mine. I will grant you that IF the Lions had Fields, yes, he would start, but based on the future, not the present. But then again, obviously they didn't think that much of Fields, or otherwise THEY WOULD HAVE DRAFTED HIM DUMBASS!

The context of my argument is based purely on who will have the better year in 2022. Not on who projects into the future as having more POTENTIAL upside.

I heard this same crap when y'all had Trubisky, how did that play our for you?

But spare me the "but but but, this time THIS quarterback really really really (fingers and toes crossed) is the real deal!!

Listening to Bears fans talk shit about Goff after Glennon....Trubisky.......Foles.........Dalton...... it's comical. But hey, fifth time is the charm, amiright?

Goff has thrown for over 4500 yards twice in his relatively short career, something no Bears QB has ever done.

Goff wasnt all that impressive last year so yes I think Fields is better in the present and future. Goff had just a 1.7% TD percentage compared to 2.6% for Fields. He was 17th in passer rating and 24th in QBR. He is a below average QB at this point in his career with very little potential for growth.

By contrast, Fields is a 2nd year QB that most expect to get better. And yes I think that means surpassing Goff this year.

Jenkins is not their best lineman at this stage and still learning RG. There is potential there but let's not get carried away.

Nobody said mustipher is playing. They said his play in preseason was a positive. Could just mean they are more comfortable with him backing up center. They've basically already said Jenkins is the starting rg for now
I certainly hope you are correct. They did say the best 5. Mustipher is not one of the best 5. That is as clear as a bell.

He is clearly one of the best 5 they have.

It’s the roids he’s always mad
Look at the fanbase I have to deal with daily. Fields misses a throw and 90% of you go into suicide watch. Go back to the Browns game thread. MOST users were freaking out after the first drive, while some of us just played the wait and see game.
Pimple back

He had 12 rz targets 0 TDs, watch the games and make sure to stay on your tren doses
Yeah, I can assure you I've never taken any of that stuff, what use would I have ever had for it?
See, now you're informed, asshole. :)

Ok that is different than being the best. I also think that it is entirely possible that as he is still learning RG and going up against a tough SF DL that he may not be quite ready for the job. Maybe just maybe, you give him a couple of weeks to continue to work on his technique at RG and let him start against Houston. Or maybe he is ready. Think it is premature to freak out one way or the other.
