Whelp. Then let me put the Whoop there it is back, right next to the zoom zoom zoom.
I remember that when I engaged you about this it was coming after a day of arguing with Remy. who was all about Gipson playing SAM. So I was probably particularly ready to fight about Gipson, or anyone, playing a new position.

Anyway, it would be great if he found a role there but I doubt it will be much.

He will probably just mostly be stuck in the return game when he comes back. Bigger role next year? Kind of like Rodgers on the Packers, although it sounds like he is stuck doing returns as he's just not progressing as a WR.
With this receiver group i don't see how they won't run plenty of plays his way on offense, but he'll definitely go right into being our return guy. They used a 3rd round pick on this guy so gotta get him involved in the offense IMO.

I think Velus will be ok. I hope the team is just being extra cautious. He’s losing valuable reps and experience though. I am optimistic that he can immediately come back and add value as a returner, and I am excited to see what Getsy can do with him. Still, right now he’s the most disappointing pick from the draft and I’m worried about his development as a receiver this season without these reps.
Don't want to rush him back from a hammy. I'm sure they want to be careful so that he doesn't reaggravate it and go back on the shelf.
