It's more the fact he left his feet to attempt to make the catch. It's not normal, what's he anticipating?
This is what I expected of this team to a degree this season, thing is, it's still hard having to sit through it at the time then witness it the day after.

Yeah, imo, one of the big problems for Fields right now and trusting the pocket is how several times he gets that pressure right up the middle and in his face. It is very hard to play qb with interior pressure like that. Not saying he doesn’t need to play better, he does. But they really need better pass pro and I will be happy when they can upgrade at C.
There was also at least two bad snaps by Mustipher last night too. The fumble in the first half and then that one where he appeared to snap it early and threw off the whole play in the second half.

Id kill to see a pocket that good where the center doesn’t get immediately beat, no immediate edge pressure and Rodgers doesn’t have to step up anyways. It’s a coverage sack on a long developing play.

I dunno about being a Lions fan, but I like to think that when the Bears are in the current state they are in, it'd be good to consider that this year might be the year the Lions finally turn us (the Bears) over either at Ford Field or Soldier Field. Either way they seem to have found an O.

The issue is that the "fan" i know you're talking about isn't actually a Lions fan. He's a CCS Bears fan who got so tired of being shit on that now he's pretending to cheer for the Lions.

I will always continue to ask you that question. Feel free to ask me. Yes I do think he has shown growth since last year. Anyone trying to pin yesterday’s game on Fields didn’t watch the game. That was 100% on Getsy. Terrible game plan against a team like the Packers.

That may be the absolute single worst piece of tape on any offensive lineman ever....
That tape may also explain why they went with the shotgun formation on 4th and 6" at the goal line. "Lets sneak behind Mustipher moving Kenny Clark out of the way" doesn't sound like such a good idea after looking at that...
