.
Omelet couldn't handle being online with people who challenged him, and didn't fawn over his online tales. He was a whiny ass dick on cbmb, similar to vash and dabears54 at times, and just a plain dick here. It's not difficult to be right about football a few times in 20 years of posting.

I am speaking of his online presence, the guy who posted photos of beheadings. I didn't know him IRL, in case BR wants to have a cry for him.
There's another popular character.

Don't bring your grudges and negativity in here when we're celebrating the life and legacy of a CCS lifer.
You aren't celebrating anything. Except someone's death. Let's not do this

So let me get this straight we are now virtue signaling death for a guy who's life goal was probably to have a post death memorial thread full of bullshit on this website?

And then let me also get straight we are now virtue signaling for poking fun at a person who started a thread calling Haskins a fucking idiot for dying?

Hold both these you boomer turkey ??

You made me look. His last post was just before Ommy died. Odd timing wouldn't you say?

As has been observed by many others, everyone improves a room. Some when they enter, others when they leave. I would say Ommy managed with his passing to improve both CCS and humanity in general, so he'll have that going for him as he stands before the Pearly Gates. Not much else, but that at least.

Here's a thought. How about as a memento mori for Ommy we name name an annual award in his honor? We already have a hall of fame and a poster of the year, so how about a worst poster of the year named in his memory? Seems only appropriate @Scoot26 @SilenceS this doable?

Can someone post a picture of his obituary? You can redact for privacy. I bet the obit mentions him training with Payton.

I don't know him personally and certainly have no reason doubt to the credibility of the OP or anyone else who knows, but the below is confusing; is that an imposter? Maybe someone who logged into his PC? Regardless, I wish his family and friends well.

*LT Mafia. I was Omeletants' consigliere for such since 2007, until he made a lot of abhorrent comments and seemed to lean into it, especially with politics later on.

RIP and I wish the best for his family even if he was a dick.

If it matters,I think it was the same Omelet here.

Just because he was wrong about Haskins doesn't mean you should follow in his footsteps. In fact I would say it is a bit of virtue signaling to suggest the Haskins thing was wrong but then endorse doing the exact same thing to him.

I would also say judging people by their online personas is pretty stupid IMO. None of us really know who each of us are in the real world. This cite is for shits, giggles and trolling. I wouldn't put much stock into how people behave on here.
