Who needs a fucking dispensary?

Everyone who smokes weed will go to a dispensary at least once if for nothing else, curiosity. But you do know the only approved containers for transportation are the dispensary jars, right?

I live in California
According to California Vehicle Code 23222(b), you can legally transport cannabis as long as it is in a sealed container.

Ours are in medical cannabis containers or cannabis containers, which are defined as the approved dispensary jars. Which are supposed to be odor proof but many are not, odor proof is in transportation leaving it open to illegal transportation if the cop imagines s/he smells something.

It's like our legislators took bits and pieces copied from other states without knowing what they mean.

Medical card holders over 21 only. 5 plants over 5". Keep what you grow. Carry 30g, the rest stays locked up at home.

Only caregivers can tend plants for a patient, in the patient's home. You may have someone not a caregiver take care of them for vacations. Only 5 plants per residence no matter how many card holders live there. Landlords can deny growing. Cities can't. Grow must be locked up with a separate lock than the home's entry.

I'm sure the 30g carry limit on homegrown is an idiot copy/paste job when they changed it from everyone can grow to only medical. The minimum patient possession limit is 2.5oz. They pasted medical card holders over 21 over adults over 21 without thinking about anything else that would need changed from adult use to medical use laws.

Correct, and patients who can buy 5oz a month minimum and get that increased to 10oz or more a month easy can only grow 5 plants.

And only seeds are allowed to be sold, no clones.

I would get my card and go into business against the dispensaries 5 plants can yield about 10 pounds if properly grown

Scrogging seems like it is time consuming and not worth the effort if you ask me.

I won't know until I harvest. If it doubles my harvest then it is definitely worth it.

Absolutely, but cant you just control height by bending down your main cola?

The point of scrogging is to get an even canopy and even height.

The even height thing is the most important portion as far as I understand because the plant sends more energy to the tallest cola, by bending the main cola over you then create a situation where all the secondary colas are at the same height and get the same energy. There is a term that Im not remembering about the plant sending more nutrition or something of that nature to the tallest cola whereas with scrogging (or bending over your main cola) you create that environment for all of your secondary colas giving them all the attention rather than just the one main.

What main cola? I top my plants as soon as they have 3 sets of leaves. These plants have been topped 3 times so far....some 4 or 5 because I broke stems trying to bend them down. So there are 15 or so main colas.

Autoflowers are the only ones I know of that dont get topped.

By bending them down I am making the plant grow horizontal instead of vertical. The second and third and even 4th set of leaves will now receive the same amount of light as the top set allowing the the buds to grow the same as the top cola. Normally the lower sets of leaves don't grow buds near as big as the top set does. Once I go into flower mode ALL leaves below the net will be removed.

Interesting thought, I doubt you double your yield. I'm interested to figure out what the end result is and the amount of extra time you have to spend nursing it are.

I got an average of 4 ounces each on my last indoor grow. I will post pics and see if this helps. I am basically doing it because it is fun and I like to experiment. I have enough pot to start my own dispensary so need is not a factor.

5 hours before it goes legal in Illinois, and at last count there are a grand total of 43 places that are selling recreationaly. I, uhh, don't think that's enough.

I got an average of 4 ounces each on my last indoor grow. I will post pics and see if this helps. I am basically doing it because it is fun and I like to experiment. I have enough pot to start my own dispensary so need is not a factor.

I've read of about a 20% yield increase with scrog. The old yield-o-rama database showed lots of people getting ~30 grams per square foot.
