A few years ago I made some space coconut oil with used flower from my vaporizer. Mixed it into melted chocolate, poured into silicone mold and made chocolate space hearts.
I still haven't eaten any. I've only given them to friends.

my daughter just baked a dozen full-sized Heath bars for me using coconut oil infused with my Sour Diesel THC. Keeping a few and handing out the rest, each full bar has about 100 mg.

Never have figured out how to calculate MG. When I make butter I just figure more is better.:)? I have no idea how I am supposed to know the MG percentage of THC in the weed I grow. Could be 10 percent.....could be 25 percent....who the **** knows. Or cares. My question to them is this...........Did you get high from it? Yes? Your welcome.

Lol it looks like you stripped out the undercarriage! Hope it pops tf off!
Everything I have researched says to strip the undercarriage. Just a few days into flower and I am beginning to understand this scrogging method and why. Plants are growing horizontal. All those lower buds are now main colas and should double if not triple my yield.

I hope

What kind of yield have you been getting on a per square foot basis?

Last plants I grew outdoors yielded approx 2 lbs per plant. Indoors has been a struggle. Last try was 4 oz of Jack Herer and 3 oz of Power plant. Was really disappointed

Well we will see. The photo I posted is of 2 Jacks. The stems are definitely fragile.

Yeah, I've never been a user till Illinois legalized it.

New... low tolerance, don't need much for a buzz.

I ate 10mg a while ago. I'm high as ****. 20mg would be out of this world high for me and I'm a pretty seasoned stoner.

10mg gets me pretty high... 5 is a nice buzz.

The cheat sheet from the dispensary for level of user and dosage pointed me in the area between novice and someone who smokes multiple times a week... which was like 5-10mg.

I should say over the years I've established a tolerance using narcotic pain killers and anything you can buy that helps you sleep.

And one big plus is this stuff helps me sleep without needing to take a bunch of Advil PM or Benadryl.

I am not entirely inexperienced.... I used narcotic pain killers age 9-10, 12-13, 15-18, and 19-21 for all these surgeries I had, then I stopped for a long time.... used some after surgery a couple years ago and again this past summer, but nothing long term.

This high (rn I had like 7.5 mg) feels similar to a pain killer high.

Not the same, but the buzz is similar.

Got a last minute offer from a buddy to head to the Fillmore the other night to see Willie Nelson. I have no interest in cowboy songs but went for the experience. Turns out his sons are really talented and one of them really can play and sing the blues. I enjoyed the show.

Anyway, I drove there, which to me means sobriety. Hung at two bars before the show and drank only water. Toward the end of the show, got passed a joint and took a couple puffs assuming my tolerance could handle it. Got in the car and paranoia set in, did not want to drive and knew it was a bad idea though I felt only mildly high. First time behind the wheel in years when high, I hated it. Lucky for me I could hit auto-pilot and auto-navigate home. Lesson learned: buzzed driving is not only dangerous, it’s actually buzz-kill.

@RacerX , fwiw, I think you might enjoy some outlaw country a la Waylon Jennings specifically, when you're not having a bad buzz.

Probably, I just don’t have any experience in that musical genre, but I am open to it.

Willie was also one the only concerts that I’ve attended in the past couple decades that didn’t have a mosh pit, novel idea to actually watch the performance.

So I went to a Windy City Cannabis dispensary yesterday.

I am going to describe the experience so @truthbedamned or others in 420-legal states can tell me if they are just as odd.

First, you walk up to the location and they have a line formed outside, complete with rented crowd control barricades used to make a snaking line. This might simply be the case until the surge of customers normalizes. No one nor any signage indicates what you're waiting for... is everyone waiting? Is this a line for specific items? I keep seeing people walk in, ignoring the line... are we just f***ing idiots and the security inside is waiting for us to figure it out? Nah I keep seeing the line-ignorers show a card... must be a medical card... they don't have to wait in line I suppose, seems logical.

So I wait.

The store has security, and they all appear to be police (county?) whom scan your license when you enter. Combined with the line outside it basically feels like waiting to get into a college bar at 11pm.... security checks your ID and only lets in a certain number at a time.

Once inside, you enter a waiting room kinda like a doctors office waiting room, with a front desk that just says Registration while other workers also do Registration in the waiting area using tablets.

A line has formed leading to the Registration desk, and the tablet-wielding employees call the front of the line as they finish registering people, so I know I'm in a line that goes somewhere this time.

Each person who "registers" shows their ID which is scanned by the tablet and put into their system, and then they tell you what they have available and they order what you want, and ask you to take a seat in the waiting area.

I take a seat and the lady next to me has a number she is waiting to be called... I did not receive a number... wtf?

Not 30 seconds later, another security guard sitting at a door across the room from the door I entered from the outside, calls me and the lady next to me to go in.

I go in and there's just 3 people standing behind counters with screens in front of them, but again no signage and they are chatting to eachother... lady in front of me isn't sure what to do... I figure just go talk to one of these people, they at least seem friendly.

I go to the one on the left... he asks me nothing and just starts reading off my order... perhaps they have the orders and your license photo? Either way, he knows what I want so I confirm.

He walks to the other side of the room behind the counter to boxes on the floor and grabs my items from said boxes. Then he puts them in a small paper bag and gives me my total. I pay him and he gives me my change, and hands me the bag. No receipt (it was in the bag), and I just turn and make my way back thru the doors I came in... which feels odd... to have a line leading into this destination, and then you just kinda have to weave thru that line of people to get back outside.

I mean I get this is a newly legal product for recreation, but they've been selling medical for a bit now, they didn't just open these stores... yet it feels like they moved into that space yesterday, threw boxes and furniture down, and just started operating.

I don't grasp why you need to check IDs at the door, then at registration and someone has to order the things I want for me on a tablet, and then I wait for a mystery summoning by a security guard, who sends me into a room where people read that electronic order off a screen and go get the stuff.

Couldn't you just have people in the spot you pay with tablets and whatnot... scan my license, take my order, go fill it, take my money.... and have a path to the outside from said room that is exit only.

Seems like it would still fulfill whatever documentation they are required to do by taking your info before the order, while cutting the wait from ordering to paying and gtfo'ing.

Anyone in any other states find dispensaries to be kinda oddly/vaguely organized like this?

How long were you there overall? I went again today, it was roughly 20 minutes, 10 outside, 10 inside.
My "local" dispensary setup is similar but instead of ordering at a desk someone comes around with a clipboard and takes your order then gives you a ticket like a raffle ticket. Oh, and they give you a paper menu once when get inside so you have some time to decide what you want but it still is pretty quick.
How was the menu or how did it seem?
What did you get?
I got an 2 eights of 2 different strains of flower. Blue Dream & Black Diamond.

When we got there, security guy said it would be a 12 minute wait until we got inside. Two guys behind us said ' **** this, we're going to [different dispensary 20 minutes away]". So basically my friend and I were getting back in the car with our weed about the same time those 2 guys got the another dispensary with an unknown wait and a much mess less stocked menu.

Their menu consists entirely of 5 different vape cartridges. That's it.
Where we were had 4 strains of flower, all in eights, limit of 2 per person. 8 or 9 different cartridges and pens, 4 or 5 different edibles, and a couple of preroll options.

I was probably there like 25 minutes... 15 or so outside and 10 minutes inside.

Menu was sparse af... they had no actual weed.

They had vape cartridges, like 4 or 5 different kinds.

They had 1 type of chocolate edible.

And they had no menu until you got to the person with the tablet... they let you know what was available and you had to decide right then with a line of 10 people waiting for you to move the **** on.

Was funny too cuz the tablet people would ask "Is this your first time here?" and I said "Yes" and she registered all my first time info and then she showed me the menu... I was gonna ask if they recommended stuff for pain vs helping you sleep but considering I had just the 2 options, and 10 people staring a hole in my head, I took 1 of both and moved on.

I will say, somehow every white dude there including myself managed to look like shady characters in one way or another.

It started to make me lolz waiting in the line outside as more people showed up or as people left with their weed products lmao so many people looked like they just got away with or were about to commit a crime.

One of the shops in the suburbs gets supply in and it lasts for a day and the wait begins for another delivery a few days away, rinse repeat.
