That FECO: I estimated based on the dispensary reports on that variety plus a little extra because vaping it seemed stronger, theirs has been 6%, I figured mine was 10%. I guessed .1ml = 25mg, about what I take in edibles. It kept building and building. It wasn't anxiety but I did end up a lot higher than I want to be.
I think .1ml was 30mg-35mg.

Someone did math and said I still had alcohol in the FECO because I got a lot out of the deseeded 4oz and 2oz trim. It is thinner than some I've seen but what I remember from "hash oil" in the 80s to be. I can't taste alcohol in it so I'm thinking if anything it's water from the plant material.
If they're right that would mean my plants are coming out a lot stronger than they should be. I need to learn to grow worse.

6oz and most a a 1.75L of everclear. 19.5 x 3ml syringes. I need to get a distiller to get the everclear back before I do it again, but I will be doing it again. FECO makes chocolates much easier.

If I read that correctly then each vial has 30 doses in it in the 25 plus mg range.... That is a LOT of doses. If a person took 3 full doses a day it would last approx 200 days.

It's a lot. 1 syringe makes a batch of chocolates 12mg-ish for a big chocolate (gives me options to have a little or a lot). Depending on how much I eat it lasts about a month. Same as my coconut oil, after a year it still has the majority in the jar.

I have bought from seedsman before. Good seeds.

Story: I decided to sell my 20x10 greenhouse so my wife stuck it on marketplace. One guy messed around messaging her for a week or so and talked me down to 150.00. I had taken it all apart and put it in my shop. Guy called and said he would pick it up at 2. I freaked cause I have 2 tents and had just hung my amnesia haze to dry. So I spent an hour moving it onto the driveway. Guy shows up and I start helping him load it into the truck I ask him what he is going to grow in it. He turns around and says "clones". Come to find out he is a microbiologist that has his own farm about 20 minutes from me. He has invited me to his farm when he gets back from Boston where he is attending a course on how to grow plants simply from cells scraped off the leaves. He told me not to worry about buying seeds anymore. Said I could come to his farm anytime I wanted and take clones.

He won the Emeralds cup for a strain he created last year. It was some hybrid Banana Cream. When he talks I can't understand half of what he is saying because it is way over my head. And he does love to talk. I sent him a text asking him how he deals with spider mites and my phone rang 10 seconds later and we talked for almost an hour. I told him he didn't need to call me and his response was that marijuana is his passion and he loves to talk about it anytime.

As he told me when he was getting ready to leave. "It's really not just a weed."

He also said to stop growing autoflowers as the genetics are not good. Said grow regular plants and when you are ready for flower just go 12x12 with your lights.

P.S. He also said he has pretty much stopped growing sativa because his trimmers charge him twice the price of indica dominant because they are such a pain to trim. And believe me. I know that pain.

I've never grown autos, and I wouldn't but these were free.
It makes no sense to me. Is it really that hard for people to adjust a timer? What's the benefit? They only take away your options, they don't give any benefit that I can see.

I don't know the pain but it could be because I grow everything short.

Sativa dominant strains stretch much more than Sativa. Therefore the buds are not as dense with many more leaves. With Sativa it is impossible to get a bud the size of your fist. Instead you get 10 the size of your fingers.

Ahh. I don't know that pain because so far with indica I've been prying buds apart to look for mold. So I end up with the same bunch of small nuggets. I have mainly been focused on sativa dominant and only have grown one solid indica twice.
But with this prize pack and getting the mold under control maybe I'll understand soon with Durban Poison and Northern Lights being 2 I know I like.

With the Raspberry Crisp (50/50 I think) I'm growing now it's indica tall but sativa size buds. By looks and smell one of them is ready at any time so I don't see them filling in before it gets picked. Looks like the sativa mixed with indica timing doesn't give the plant time to grow.
If I love it of course I'll grow it again, but based on growth habit alone I wouldn't when I can get a lot more with the same amount of work.

I made a foot long rolling machine in college and there was a thing called EZ Wider Unrolling. A roll of uncut papers.
Doesn't work too good, the resin quickly clogs it. I can't imagine those.

I'm amazed anyone smokes joints any more at these prices. Unless you homegrow and get it for $6/oz.

Which reminds me, I harvested the Raspberry Crisp. Looks like I should get around 10oz. Maybe even hit 1.5g/w or better.
Can't say how it is yet or the exact weight, still curing. But the terpenes as it's curing smell like I might like it.

Some of the funnest times in my life were when I lived in the Haight from late 66 to 69.

More like an hour or two for edibles. Unless these are some sort of new nanoparticle tech I've heard about.

If you've had edibles before and know they fully hit you that fast it would be OK, but 15 minutes would be extremely fast for an edible (that isn't the new stuff). I think when I tested my FECO it did hit me in 30 minutes, but it also kept building for hours.

That said 10mg THC each probably isn't that much. For a long time I'd feel 6mg but once I got some tolerance to edibles 12mg is my new 6mg. But 24mg is too much sometimes. I found staggering 12mg every 2 hours to be a good place.

Found a 1gal jar. Last time I weighed it was 8.5oz. That's plenty but as far as the variety goes I'm not happy. There's an extra plant, and an extra 2sq/ft. It should've produced more if not for the wimpy bud growth type. Of course if it's something I can inhale without anxiety to get some tolerance to inhaling I'd love it but I don't see myself searching out more seeds of this.
It does smell good but my guess is it will be like other med-high THC varieties and I'll be mixing plenty of hemp with it.
Even the popcorn is dense af so I've figured out the key to getting dense buds.

Seedsman finally has US based shipping starting. I want to try a Charlotte's Web knock off but I have the 30:1 variety I won and some hemp seeds I can torture to try to make it go hot.
Right now I have 2 Medi-Haze going to test the production potential of the closet and a Northern Lights Auto going in my box with a cheap 100w quantum board knock off. If the light produces I may be lending it to a friend's kid to try to get her started growing. I'm guessing 5 plants wouldn't be enough to make her self sufficient.
As far as here, it's nice having a proper veg box working especially after taking last summer off growing and then wasting fall on males.
