Any practice today?
Cedric benson curtis enis lionel antoine waymond bryantHe traded up and blew the 2nd overall pick on a QB that couldn’t even win the starting job going into year 4. That is reserved for Jamarcus Russell and Blaine Gabbert.
That is worse than 10,000 Bazuins.
Francis Scott Key was certainly racist.
What the lines mean is that the British manipulated blacks into trying to fight for them. The British actually make no mention of trying to attract slaves in the original proclamation, only that they would accept blacks as freemen and not as slaves.
There were free blacks and slave blacks in the US at the time.
What the lines were was to admonish the people that switched sides whether they were freemen or not.
You could intrepret that as racist or not.
It was probably best that the poem was amended.
Any practice today?
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave
Idk how to interpret this as anyway but racist. Its basically openly mocking that slaves would be killed if they fought for their freedom with the British. I think its pretty obvious the British scheme was they could recruit slaves with freedom and hurt the American side in that way. Therefore these lines are directed at slaves and mocking their decision.
No apology needed but thank you anyway. You are the king of flip flopping so maybe you can take the apology back in your next post...LOL
it was mocking anyone that switched sides, hence the hireling part....

Maybe the apology can keep you warm as you wrap yourself in your 8-8 snuggy and wank it over Dollar Store Jerry Angelo.
A prayer to Ryan Pace
Give us our yearly 8-8
And forgive us our hope
As we forgive every dog shit move you make
And lead us not into the temptation of a modern NFL offense
But deliver us from the evil of having a franchise QB
Ahmen

An unplayable bad QB at 2nd overall.

But we all know who switched sides and so did he when he wrote thisit was mocking anyone that switched sides, hence the hireling part....
Its not rocket science to figure out what he meant with that terminology. He used it very pointedly here during a time when it would be obvious who he was talking aboutPeople said they were "gay" and said someone else was "gay" 70 years ago and had nothing to do with being a homophobe. Gay 70 years ago in its most used context meant happy. You are using your 2020 definition for a word used 100s of years ago.
Please do not place M Trubisky in the same sentence as J Russell. TIA.
You didn't spell AMEN right......just sayin.
