I won't say anything bad about Jimmy Waite, I think he's the right guy there, and we've seen him do some really good things with little in net. Which leads me to believe it's either the Offense or Defense.... I'm not smart enough to know which, and most people will go, offense what are you talking about, it's obviously the defense. But you can have your offensive style have inadequate personnel to oversell or not protect the neutral zone, all sorts of things which puts even more pressure on the D who are expected to jump in different places or do different things than just be stay at home D. I'm not saying that's the case here, as it could just as easily be the shit show of revolving doors and young kids on D.

Needless to say, I expect the #1 pick again this year. Knowing they sold their soul for Bedard though... I bet we somehow drop to 10th.

It's a little of both, plus personnel. What I see is that we have had nothing in the way of good coaching since Q was fired. Waite excepted .

I think the team needs a coach that knows what they are doing, as well as a staff picked by the head coach. No sycophants, and no keeping guys like King. KfC cleaned house in terms on on-ice personnel, he needs to do it now with off -ice personnel. We have seen some glimmers of good, solid okay from the kids we have now; we need good coaching to bring it out of them for 60 minutes as well as every game.

As for the pick this year? I got a hunch we pick between 2 and 4. I didn't think we can drop below pick 4 as long as we're 2nd worst. I don't think we win the lottery again.

Both goalies getting shelled. Can't even evaluate them at this point.

The fucking idiot keeps putting Vlasic and Crevier together as a pair and then thinking Crevier must not be able to play.

He keeps putting mini-men together and lacks line integrity decision making ability.

Sorenson does not understand how 1 line might work, much less have a plan for how they can work together or be deployed strategically.

These guys need an identity for at least one scoring line and one transition line.

Martinez should not still be here.

Levshunov goes straight to first power play without earning it.

It's a disaster. I don't know what the hell Sorenson is doing but maybe go to King to finish the season affably.

We have a bunch of skilled children who want to be picked up by a bunch of grunt veterans.

Something is rotting about this team beyond the players.

It's games like last night that I"m convinced they are doing everything they can to get the most out of the young kids because you can see the talent out there but they really just need to have them play together, and yet ensure they tank to keep ahold of a good draft spot.

I wouldn't mind the coaching staff gutted from crotch-to-sternum like a rainbow trout, but it only works out of KfC gets a real coach and allows them to pick their staff. I'm not 100% confident he'll do so.
