Walt is finally outsmarted by someone.

Jack out smarts him and ends up with his cash. Todd outsmarts him and keeps Jesse alive to cook (at least for now). Walt defiantly slipped up there. Now we wait and see if they keep Jesse alive, or use him to cook...

There is going to be some crazy ending with Jack..

Also, safe to say that Walt Jr. defiantly didn't have an "A-1 day" when he found out about all of this..

I just watched the part again and it didn't seem like there was any communication between Walt and Todd. I think Todd just stepped in so he can have Jesse help him cook.

And I think if Walt didn't want to see Jesse dead, he wouldn't have said he found Jesse. Then nod when Jack asked "good to go?" to kill Jesse. Then let Jesse get dragged off after he told him about Jane.

Maybe Walt changes his mind after he finds out Jesse isn't dead. But at that moment, it seemed like Walt wanted Jesse dead.

I re-watched it myself and think I may have been overreaching on any communication between Walt and Todd. Still can't shake the feeling though that Walt is really the reason Jesse is still alive. If Walt really wanted Jesse dead...why let Todd take him away instead of insisting Jack "pay what he owes" right there in front of Walt?

He definitely wants to hurt Jesse...hence the confession about Jane, but I still don't believe he really wants Jesse dead.

Maybe all that changed as soon as Hank died...maybe Jesse and Walter have seen the last of each other. Or maybe Walt realizes that Jesse is all the family he has left.

It is going to be a wild two and a half hours of television. The best thing about this show is that after 62 episodes along with brief sneak peeks at the final episode(s)...I still have no concrete idea where they are going with this.

Kudos Vince Gilligan...kudos!

Cheesus...that was fucked up.

I figured Hank got killed in the shootout. And that Jack would be privy to Walts money. But everything else after that was pretty crazy.

I agree..How does a guy call his wife and basically chew her out just to take the heat off her, all the while knowing he may never see his family again...man, that took balls!

Thought a few more loose ends would be tied up in that episode
Just finished it, and I agree. Although, the last 10 minutes were absolutely awesome. First the call to Jr, then to the DEA. Unbelievable how he just happened upon the two people he founded a billion dollar company with on tv. Loved seeing how they ended it with the opening song's hook when they showed his empty glass of scotch.

Sorry to Zack about the glasses. It was a good thought.

Walt's swan song? Yep, perhaps the greatest television series of all time.

Yeah I was wrong on the glasses. But I didn't expect to be right, after all with this show it's hard to be right about anything.

I'm thinking 4 are likely to happen in the ending:

1. Walt kills the nazis and frees Jesse.
2. Walt kills the nazis and turns himself in.
3. The nazis kill Walt.
4. Walt sees his family and turns himself in....

But who knows with this show..

I thought the last episode was kinda "ehh." Maybe my expectations were too high. I thought they'd get a lot more done. I understand what they were trying to do though. I think they were trying to show us that Walt truly has nothing else to live for. His family has completely turned on him, most of his money is gone and even w/e he has left, he can't do much with it. He can't even get it to his family. So he either sits in that cabin until he dies, or he goes and gets shit done. We know he was at the cabin for 2 months...

The end was pretty good though. And it still was a good setup for what should be an insane finale.

I'm glad Gilligan has said that there WILL be a resolution one way or another in the finale. I would have hated if they had that open ending bullshit to leave it up to the audience to decide what could have happened.

I felt bad for Jesse.. He was stupid as hell though. He should have expected some shit like that was gonna happen.
