Was finishing up paperwork on a deal. I sold a customer an extended warranty on a Chrysler 200. When she asked about pricing this is how the conversation went --

Customer: So, Joey, how much will this warranty cost?
Me: It's about $425 per year, ma'am (instead of telling her it was almost $2500, it's easier for most people to digest a yearly number, not to mention, it makes a warranty easier to pitch). Since we're financning, at a non-subvented rate, you'll have interest accrue over the term of the loan.
Customer: .... so how much is it, again?
Me: $425 per year.
Customer: So.... like $425?
Me: Sure. $425.

St. Baldrick's - Raising Money By Cutting Hair for Cancer - FOX Chicago

An event to help raise money to fight cancer. Our school does it March 22nd. I'll be raising money until that day to help fight cancer. Then on the 22nd you turn in the money you've raised and (If you want) you can have your head shaved for free furing your lunch hour. If you raise $500 or more you're head is shaved in front of the whole school during an assembly at the end of the day. Not sure if i want everyone watching, but i'll definately be shaving my head. And all next week im staying after school to help student council make posters and flyers promoting the event. Its a pretty neat thing

Setting up the weblogs for my fundraising right now, setting my goal at $300 but I'm already more than half way there, my dad donated a hundred and his company matched the donation :elephant:

So, as I was telling my compatriots on Facebook, after a rather lengthy process of soul-searching and deep inward reflection, I've decided to give up Religion for Lent...

No Chicago connections for me. Looks like I'll be stuck in Kentucky forever. May as well just move to Florida now.
