Got up a half hour ago. First time I've slept in in almost a month. Going to just enjoy my off day.

I made breakfast for a few chicks this morning.

:cum: Lots of protein.

Hmm, didn't know that van down by the river had a kitchen.

*Plays dueling banjos.

All kidding aside, I had forgotten you are near the damage zone...hope you didn't get any.

I was very fortunate. Got a lot of wind and some bad storms. A few trees are down a few blocks away, but nothing too bad. The hardest hit areas are all in the eastern part of the state. Lots of bad damage and many buildings down out there.

There aren't many buildings in the eastern portion to begin with, so the odds of them being hit are almost zero...very strange coincidences. It isn't the number of tornadoes that alarms me so much as the fact they keep hitting populated areas when there is mile after mile of untouched farmland nearby.

For sure. The area that was hit the worst was actually hit about 3-4 years ago. It's a very small little town and they were just getting things back to normal from what I've heard, so it's very sad that that they were struck again.
