I think everythings better with a cold beer in hand
No Saturday night NHL hockey for three weeks. :facepalm2:
So I was looking through this photo shoot that some of the hotter Russian Olympians did recently and something occurred to me: regardless of how hot she is, I don't think I could ever bang a chick named Olga. Could you imagine that? Just take any of the filthy things you've said to a chick in bed and replace her name with Olga. Let that sink in for a moment...
Ok. On top of that, you can't even shorten or expand it to anything remotely attractive sounding either. Generally the Slavs do a decent job of naming their women, but that is just fucking terrible.
What about Svetlana?..
Woooo. My company got sold.
The whole thing or just what you work on? Lol I went through that last year where our parent company sold our product to another parent company.... its kinda a weird thing to go through as an employee.
Just my entity. We were sold to a company in Indianapolis....Closing is in 4-6 months... I have time to find a new job with another entity of the company or outside (obviously).
Do you have the option to stay on and become an employee of the new company or no?
When we got bought, they bought the product and the whole staff.
They are going to hire about 30 people from here...I dont know if they would need my department or not.... But, that would require me to move to Indianapolis. I just bought a house in August..not happening.
Yeah I got lucky I guess.... the company that bought us has offices all over the country now and they got us our own office space in downtown Chicago so there were no moving requirements.
I bought a house back in July, so I know what you mean, I wouldn't wanna move either.
Yeah, I have several friends who work for Nokia Mobile...they got bought out by Microsoft (lucky them), though there is the concern Microsoft will send all of them to Seattle. One of my friends bought a house in early summer and is getting married next month.... and is also married to the suburb he lives in (he barely even ventures outside of the town)...so even at a chance over making over 100k for Microsoft by moving to Seattle, he wouldn't.
Yeah, and I live in a townhouse, and association will only allow you to rent if you pay a large fine (which I get because in the downturn all these townhouses turned into places people just rent and it brings in a lot of undesirables). So yeah...the decision is pretty easy for me in the end.
I am in a townhouse too.... in a condo association thing as well.... its nice having all the outside maintenance taken care of for you.
Association fee is only 125$ a month here too which was cheap compared to all the other ones I looked at.... it covered all the landscaping, driveway stuff, roof stuff, snow/ice clearing on driveway and walkways....
Join the honky tonk bar association.
Quiet. The adults are talking.
