I adore the Sopranos but I agree that I was annoyed when almost the entire episode was devoted to a dream. Chase handled those sequences better than most others because he is the best TV writer I have ever had the pleasure to behold, but still, the medium imposes narrative logic on an experience that by its nature defies narrative logic and can't be represented in any effective way via narrative. Just my opinion.

That said, about to rewatch the Sopranos from beginning to end for about the 8th time.

To each his own. I'll agree the 'dream episode' was less than stellar, but the dream sequences done within regular episodes I felt were always well done.

Coincidentally, I was actually watching that episode of the Blacklist on Netflix when I read the post I responded to, and I thought that was a shit scene as well.

I think sitcoms get a pass on dream sequences though. Most sitcoms are not serialized therefore very few episodes have any consequence. So dream sequences allow funny character to be funny outside their norm. And that is alright because again sitcoms arent serialized so there isnt some overall direction a show heads.

I'm gonna be on a beach somewhere in Hawaii starting tomorrow, and for the first time in a long time, I won't give a flying **** about watching the Bears play. On that note, does any one have any recommendations for the Big Island? We're spending a day touring the volcano, and the rest of the week just lounging on the beach.

At every Chipotle I've been to, there's always a line at least 10 people deep, no matter what time of day. In-n-out Burger is even worse.

When I go to Cali I like to stop at In-n-out for the experience. The food is only average and I know 50 burger places here that are better. The reason it's so busy is that there are very few decent burger places in california

I have never eaten at Chipolte.

Me neither. Now that you know that. You should go eat at Chipolte.

It is solid.... its not the best Mexican food out there, but you can get a quality burrito with less filler than other places.

It works similar to a Subway when you order.... pick your vessel first.... burrito, taco, bowl.... then pick your main stuff.... rice/meat/beans..... then pick your extras.... salsa/sour cream/cheese/guac.

Ideally don't go your first time and order for 3 people

I'm no burger connoisseur, but I put In-n-Out in the fast food category. After all, they only cost $3-$4, and there are chains everywhere here. For a fast food chain, I think their burgers are damn good, dare I say the best I've had. Now, I can't say the same thing if you wanna put them up against some killer local burger joint.

You are correct and we have to judge them in the correct category. Afterall this is not a $10 burger. Yet, there are lots of great $4-5 burgers in Chicago

Again, it's the expereince for me: the long lines, the overly friendly staff, the secret menu, the burger cooked properly

First time I went to In N Out was when i was visiting friends in Orange County. It was when the Lakers/Celtics were in the finals.

I was fucked up both drunk and high and loving life. Black Escalade pulled up to the drive thru window and it's Kobe... I start freaking out (this was when Kobe was still good 6-7 years ago). My friends were all nonchalant like "oh yea... no big deal, he comes here after every home game".

Stupid fucking California people.

I would've blasted him with piss. **** Kobe.

Never been to an In-n-Out... or a Jack in the Box. Supposedly, there's one in Indianapolis, about 95 miles from me. Guess it's time to fire up a log and roll one up for a road trip.

Is there anything more liberating then taking a dump with the bathroom door open while nobody is home?

Order online, seriously just order online it is way easier

On the note of burgers Five Guys are the most overrated burgers of all time. Don't know if you have them up there but down here people swear by them and there isn't a god damn thing special about them.

I find that taking a piss off the deck with your pants down is very liberating..Of course, you can only do that if your neighbors cant see

Yeah right, dude. I'll drop my pants around my ankles and show off a nice, golden arch for all of Depauw Avenue to admire. My neighbors need to know who's boss.

Lol, if you drive 95 miles for a Jack in the Box, you're gonna shoot yourself. It's on par with McDonald's/Burger King.

Do I hit the thank you too button too much?
What does. That even do? Does it make those bars under the avatar go up?
