If you're going to make a joke about my detective skills and try to tie it do the Hardy Boys, atleast find a picture of them with their shirt off.

"try to tie it do the Hardy Boys" I didn't do that, you did. Any new clues junior g-man?

I believe too much TV, pop culture, and modern acronyms can stunt your growth. But I also believe stunting one's growth will not lead to a longer life.

I'm leaving the frozen tundra of the Midwest tonight and heading west for the weekend where I plan to consume a lot of alcohol.

I have a bottle of that in my fridge as we speak. Won it in a FB raffle, along with a bomber of Blind Pig. Blind Pig is better than Pliny, btw.

Pliny used to be kind of the benchmark for IPAs. Now many IPAs have come along and left PtE behind, its a classic IPA though. Send me that bomber of Blind Pig so I can try it.

I've been thinking about this question a lot. I saw a tweet the other day of someone excoriating Mo Brooks for calling the budget deal a "dead junkie's dream". It was another example of the idiocy of emotional politics. Brooks did not say "dead" junkie, he said "debt" junkie.

But I found the resulting question, "What does a dead junkie dream about?" to be sort of a Zen Koan.
