You can't always expect the bullpen to be flawless every time out. They'll give up a run every so often.

It's nice to see the Cubs up and running out of the gate early. 2 run double by Colvin, sac fly by Soriano and a 2 run home run by Fukudome.

Ramirez is getting his slump out of the way early. After the year he had last year, even in limited games I think most Cubs fans are expecting that all the time. If he hasn't broken it in another couple of weeks then Lou needs to sit him again for a few games.

I was going to question the decision to rest Byrd since he's been hitting so well, but the rest of the offense picked up without him in there. Hopefully the offense can keep this up for awhile.
