Cubs have scored in every inning but the sixth. That is awesome.

I've been texting Brewers fans all day lol.

So far everyone but Lee and Rami have gotten it going. Lee was looking good the first couple of weeks then cooled off big time.

The TBS announcer said the Cubs hadnt sweep the Brewers in MIL in 7 years. The Cubs swept them in 4 games in 2008. Remember #Cubs fans?

The hitting is finally catching up with the starting pitching. Now the relievers need to fall in line and we will be all good.

Colvin was a monster today along w/ Fukudome. Colvin needs more at-bats while he's hot.

I remember that very well. The Sunday before that series, we were tied with the Brewers, on a bit of a slump, the Brewers were doing good. At 2PM, we were losing big in our game, the Brewers were winning big in theirs. Things didn't look good. We had to go to their place for 4 games, Sabathia and Sheets were going to pitch the first 2 games of the series. 98 hours later, we had a 5-game lead and never looked back.

Yeah that series gave the Cubs that final push....the 2008 season was my favorite by far.....hope the Cubs can play like that again this season.

All they need to do is what they did in this series. Timely hits, small ball and not count on home runs to get the runs in. The starting pitching as usual was phenomenal, and the bullpen looked better than it has all year. I can take giving up a run every now and again, as long as it is not something that starts to cascade in losing confidence and walking people and giving up a buttload of runs.
