My favorite teams
For a blue blood college football program, losing is more toxic than hiring Urban.Urban is toxic at this point.

Tune in next week against bama. They didn’t need him today against LSWhoEvery time I want to watch Cedric Tillman play, he’s out injured.
They ended up winning by 3 Td’s. Their defense is legit. And their running game. Still aren’t good enough to beat Georgia or Bama. Probably not Tennessee eitherMichigan being in the top 10 is a joke. They belong nowhere near it.

We shall see. They broke thru and beat OSU last year. We will see if Harbaugh can keep the momentum of the program going or not at OSUStill not impressed. They haven’t beat anyone of note and probably won’t all year. They’ll lose at OSU and then get waxed in a bowl game. Par for the course for Harbaugh
They were relevant for a while, a long time ago, in a football galaxy that is far, far away. For a blue blood college football program, losing is more toxic than hiring Urban.
They have the fan base, facilities, and booster $$ to be relevant again stillThey were relevant for a while, a long time ago, in a football galaxy that is far, far away.
You answered the reason why right there. The defenses were facing atrocious QB play. If it was a close, low scoring game featuring solid or above QB play, then the game would get the credit it deservesPossibly. Washington could/should drop out. But I am not sure what other unranked teams may move in instead of the Illini.
I think winning a low scoring game gets you less respect than when teams win 35-31 for some reason. Nobody will consider that ugly game classic, but in fairness it actually was two good defenses, albeit against putrid QBs.
Illinois has allowed a total of 15 points in 4 home games. Granted, they haven't played good offenses, but in college football that's still an accomplishment. That included a drive tonoght where Iowa started at the Illini 5 yard line, and another where Iowa started at the Illini 35.
Damn right!@knoxville7 y’all gonna show up Saturday or nah?
