With the Dodgers/Mets going 5 it has to help the Cubs that they will be able to set their rotation up. Matt Harvey may only pitch once if the Mets win.

The cosmic objects are aligning for the Cubs.

Wut? Even if Harvey didnt pitch until Game 3, he could still pitch twice.

MLB tonight was stating that Harvey is set to only pitch once a series. I guess this is from Harvey and Boras.

I love watching these guys play. Eddie Vedder was fucking rocked on tv lol.

Cusack was at the game too. Hanging with Ricketts. What a night to be in Wrigley area right now! It's so early but I can't help it, this team is so hot.

First of all, I want the Dodgers.

Second, if we grt the Mets, we want Matt Harvey as often as possible. DeGrom and Thor are better.

I want the Dodgers too. They won't be able to set it up for Kershaw to pitch three games and they'll have to start their #3 in game one. Greinke's start will be in Wrigley. I like our chances.

How I'd imagine the Dodgers would set up the rotation

Game 1 - Kershaw (second straight start on three days rest) vs Arrieta
Game 2 - Anderson vs Lester
Game 3 - Grienke vs Hendricks
Game 4 - Kershaw vs Arrieta (3 days rest) OR Hammel/Bullpen
Game 5 - Anderson on three days OR Alex Wood vs Hammel/Bullpen OR Arrieta
Game 6 - Grienke (three days rest) vs Lester

The re-sale tic market for game 3 is off the chain, $650 for mediocre 200 level seating.

Kershaw won't start Game 1 on three days' rest.

Can I officially take back anything I have said all year as far as trading anyone? :bowrofl:

Frankly, right now, I would like to add a couple of good pitchers to the line-up and take my chances from here on out. :yep:

Kershaw will pitch game 2 and Greinke 3. I would start Lester game 1 against the Dodgers #3 pitcher the Cubs have the advantage. Arrieta vs Kershaw game 2, I like the Cubs chances. Game 3 Greinke vs bullpen loss, and so on. As a Cub fan I would rather see the Dodgers than Mets because after the first 2 SP, they are lacking in SP and RP. Plus the Dodgers don't have an explosive offense like the Mets. The Cubs match up very well against the Dodgers.
