Word...

SOX fan since forever (born '77)... Dad took me to many a game as a kid... Owned a litany of Sox hats o'er the years. Fell off the baseball wagon after strike. Passively checked in on the Sox and went to 1-3 games a year from 95' until '05. I was at my aunt's house during Opening Day '05 and watched the first game with my uncles (SHINGO!). For whatever reason, payed close attention to every game after. Friend told me about WSI -- joined.
Went to 10+ games in '05 including all Games '2' (All Burls, all the time). Bought partial season tix for '06. Got "ripped" from WSI, shared a bird in return... Been partial season tix holder since... Don't "care less," but learning to "care less"...

Fave SOX moment: Game 2 (you know which one)..
Close Runner up: Blackout

Yeah, I know what you mean about the strike. Killed my love of the game until about 2000, when I paid attention just long enough to watch Seattle sweep us in the playoffs...

I am also a reject from the Palehosed. I hope it gets up and running soon enough. I have been a Sox fan since was born so that's 32 some odd years. My favorite player on the 40 man (becuase I can't say he's playing) is Jake Peavy. Favorite player of all time is a three way time between Frank Thomas; Ross Gload and Toby Hall. Favorite coach of all time is Man Soo Lee. Favorite moment was game two of the Series.

Who was it earlier that said Paulie hit a homer off Lidge? I don't remember that.

I am also a reject from Palehosed. Had some form of season tickets since 2000. I go to like 45 games a year.

I gotta say from being here for a week or whatever the sigs and avatars are WAY too big. I don't need to scroll down these huge ass sigs after a two word response.

Paulie's slam was off Dan Wheeler.

Pods is the one who hit the walkoff later in that same game off Lidge

It was off of Qualls. Wheeler just exited the game, it was Qualls' first pitch of the ballgame and Paulie crushed it.

White Sox Fan Since: 1975
Favorite Current White Sox Player: Mark Buehrle
Favorite All-Time White Sox Player: Harold Baines
Favorite White Sox Moment: Fisk DP at home? Baines ending the 25 inning game? All of 2005? Carl Everett? So hard to tell.

Anyway, I'm 36 and I've never gotten to enjoy being a Sox fan in Chicagoland...always lived elsewhere. I was always a Sox fan like my dad and got really jacked about the '83 team, then the rest of the 80's was a long, long disappointment. Dug the early Thomas years, 1990-1994, kind of wandered away from the Sox during the strike until 1998. Since then I've been a fairly full-bore, out-of-town fan. Don't own a lot of swag, but you shall know me by my Einhorn "E" cap and Dye jersey. Unfortunately, I only get to games in Balmer and Phlliy these days. I've been a part of the Banned of Brothers diaspora from WSI for, what, like five years now? Jesus...

I also enjoy skinny-skiing and bullfights on acid.

That's right. I stand corrected
