I wish my job searches were that easy. I get right up to the point where I think I’m going to be offered something, then I don’t hear anything for days/weeks.

There is a guy here that is a really good programmer that is heavily under utilized. He's a lifer though. He actually started off at the place I used to work.

That was me for like 8 years at the other job. I even interviewed where I'm at now 2 times. Thought for sure I had the last two (before the one I actually got).
The only way I can explain it is God at work. How do you only have 1000 posts? Seems like you post more than that.

The first time around a few months back I was told, “We’ll be in contact next week.” I finally had to email them to see what was going on. Didn’t work out.
This time around (same place) I’ve been told they want to make a decision by the end of the month. So I could still have another week and a half to wait.
In the meantime I’m going insane waiting for an answer one way or the other. This is literally a life-changing opportunity for me and they know it.

Ares did call me Clone here and there for my first couple weeks. I have never once referred to him as Ares IRL unless I was quoting something from CCS.

Saved our butts...there were so many zombies trying to get through that doorway. I may only hit 9/100 zombies with my gun, but I hit 100/100 with a guitar. I melee because I care.
