That throw by Trubisky sucked, but outside of that, he’s objectively played well. Put the ball where it needs to go, has made good decisions, and has multiple times decided to stay in the pocket and find the open man, often on third down.

That the stat line doesn’t look great rests on 2 main things:

The offense has had fewer possessions because of the defense.

Howard has 2 touchdowns.
