He’s in over his head. He absolutely is.
I like him too, but he’s definitely a fraud. Listen to him talk. Listen to his word salad. Watch his confounding moves. Look at his weird scripted play scrimmage where completed passes meant nothing.
He’s not a head coach. He’s a coordinator/position coach pretending to be a head coach. He wasn’t ready.

No preseason means it's only fair to let the QB battle continue into the third week. Write today off as the end of that chapter and a shaky start for the new number one. Then decide in the next three weeks if there is anything to salvage or if it's time to blow it all up and re-rebuild.
