Chicago Bears lead series 4-3-0
GREG MABIN vs. ALLEN ROBINSON
The Jaguars' secondary has been absolutely wrecked this season. Cornerbacks C.J. Henderson & D.J. Hayden are both on IR with Sidney Jones nursing an ankle injury. Mabin drew his second start of the season for Jacksonville on Sunday and played 100% of snaps. He allowed just two completions on four targets, but both catches were big plays...a 44-yard bomb to Marquise Brown and Dez Bryant’s first touchdown since 2017. Now the Jaguars will be hosting their own former star receiver, Allen Robinson. Currently ranking in the top ten in every meaningful catagory, Robinson is going to be extra motivated against a secondary that has struggled for months. Can the inexperienced Mabin contain one of the league's best looking to make a statement while keeping his team's playoff hopes alive?
KEELAN COLE vs. KINDLE VILDOR
The Bears have also had their cornerback depth tested recently as this will be the second consective game Chicago will be missing their phenominal rookie DB Jaylon Johnson and the third game for Buster Skrine. The rookie Vildor got his first taste of NFL action last week in obvious passing downs and was often abused by the Vikings own talented rookie receiver, Justin Jefferson. With Kyle Fuller likely shadowing DJ Chark, the Jaguars will look to try and get their talented second receiver to add to Vildor's growing pains. Can Vildor shake off the rough start in Minnesota or can Cole take advantage to help his team end a thirteen game losing streak?
JAWAAN TAYLOR vs. KHALIL MACK
Jawaan Taylor had moments of brilliance in an inconsistent 2019 rookie campaign but has had a rocky sophomore season, as he now leads all offensive linemen in pressures allowed. That is especially troubling this week as Taylor and the Jaguars will be facing All Pro edge rushing machine, Khalil Mack. Mack has lined up on the left side of the defensive line on 85.7% of his pass-rushing snaps this season so he will primarily be facing off against Taylor. Can Mack exploit the matchup to lead a suddenly resurgent Bear pass rush?
