No he didn’t. He threw most of his receivers open. Thats what a good QB does
He did both. None of their WRs really had to fight through our DBs or make difficult catches, nor was Love pressured into making difficult throws.

GB receivers were not wide open. Love was throwing them open. Thats the difference between him and Fields.
You are so full of shit your eyes are brown GB receivers were WIDE FUCKING OPEN the whole game. You really think no one else watched the game. If "throwing them open" means throwing to a receiver with no one within 8-10 yards then Love threw them open.

**** are you an idiot.

Honestly I think Penix is the guy they should get. If a guy like Harbaugh or someone more competent we're in charge and you traded that first overall pick for more picks, you could absolutely grab more offensive line Talent to protect him, have competent coaching, and still grab Penix at 9, or maybe even a later pick if he slides due to injury history.

We need an oline last year to get Penix and if we had that we may not even be talking about a QB with the #1.
What I saw from Penix's mobility was Orton in a boot.

After watching O'Sullivan break down the oline failures I even doubt Williams would make it the year without being injured.
Penix would require a whole new Bear philosophy to actually commit to having a pocket for the pocket passer.

Any rookies you get to protect any QB are going to be rookies. Oline takes a year. It's why I've been complaining about not fixing oline for Fields fast enough. Poles' 1st year should've been oline not DBs.

The Bears should set expectation high.

Jesus!

If that's what you're trying to say....then fucking say it. You can slam the "we" bullshit....you're a fan, not part of ownership.

I don't wanna be a dick, bit did you even watch the game? Bears ran a weak ass cover 2 all game. Pack knew it and sat WIDE open in all the zones. Love didn't throw them open at all, they sat in the zones...thats what an actual real OC would do.

They were open all day because they seemed them open against the Bears defense.

Houston was as bad as the bears last year....all.of a sudden they have a TEAM?

They hit on the coach and qb and the others became better.....guy was throwing to 1 wr last night....a guy who had similar/worse career numbers as Mooney coming into the season....and their rb room isn't much different than the bears.
Nice try. Ha!

And thats a fair ask...but let me ask you this...how many "great" QBs are in the game today? One could argue there is only 1 (Mahomes) and then alot of very good QBs. Teams have won super bowls without great QBs because at the end of the day, it is a team sport. Mahomes without no oline or shit coaching isn't winning a SuperbowlWe could quibble over specific QBs, but think about guys like this:
Literally about a third of the league is made up of pretty damn good QBs that are way fucking better than Fields ever will be. You’re not winning a Super Bowl as long as you’re marching Fields out against guys like this.

Mahomes
Herbert
Hurts
Tua
Stroud
Stafford
Burrow
Allen
Love
Cousins
Prescott
Jackson

That’s more than a third of the league, and those are guys who are way better than Fields ever will be.

You’re making it seem like having a good or very good quarterback is rare.

I’ve got news for you: It’s not.

Since the team is talented...just drop Davis Mills back in as qb.....think they win 10 games?
Nitwit. Stop backtracking.

We all said Stroud is good. He isn't doing it all by himself.

It's a team game.

You're wasting my time.

You keep saying they have a good TEAM?

While they're more talented than last years 3 win team; so are the bears......but one won 10 games and their division, one won 7 games vs an awful schedule

What's the difference ?

They have weapons, LT, very good QB, a head coach you don't care to recognize, and an OC that can dial up plays.

And they are division Champs. You can win like that without having a good team.

But then again I forget you are football illerate and only know the phalanx.

Have a good evening.

Hahaha

I said they upgraded where it matters most....qb and hc

The rest were mostly there last year or draft picks.....and Moore was a bigger addition as a weapon than anything hou added

Their 3 win roster last year to this year's 10 win roster is comparable to the bears 3 win roster last year vs 7 win roster this year

But they added a 4k qb and hc...bears stayed with the status quo

That toss run
I want a redemption game from the Bears so bad. Poetic justice for week 1 destroying the lofty dreams and hopes of the season, an exclamation point on the midseason turn around to come in to Lambo and knock them out of the playoffs as the last game of football in the '23 season. But I have wanted this so many times before and have seen less wins at GB than I have fingers on 2 hands. I started watching the Bears in 1995 and checking their record online now, there have been all of 8 wins since then, only 2 wins in the last 15 years... I've just seen the Bears roll into this situation and shit their pants in public too many times.

Anyway, Flus needs to find ways to manufacture pressure on Love - try to limit how many times he asks his DTs to drop in coverage while doing that.

Fields is going to need to beat heavy zone coverage - quick decision making and throwing on time into small windows. WRs are going to need to identify zones and stop and sit in the gaps - no roboting out of a window into the next zone like they have done a ton of this season. GB is probably going to play heavily towards contain on their pass rush like they did in game 1, probably not going to be a ton of opportunity to get out the side of the pocket - probably going to need to be smart with scrambles and wait for a DL to make a mistake before he gets a clean break to the sideline. Hoping Getsy has an answer for pressure that isnt "WR screen" or "well just block everyone". Lucas Patrick is going to lose his matchup a ton to Kenny CLark - we already know that - whats the plan for it Getsy? Game 1 his plan was "well just hope the C has a career game and doesnt lose a lot" - thats not an answer thats a prayer.
Hi It’s the future - the Bears did indeed shit their pants. Interior pressure destroyed drives and Getsy had no idea what to do about it. Career ender in CHI for multiple people most likely, it was stupid to have hope and you should feel stupid for feeling these feelings. At least Wisconsin Dells sells Spotted Cow everywhere.

You're still being obtuse.

Houston is playing good football as a team.
Bad teams with a good qb don't win their division. So stop while you're behind.

Our team isn't at their level.

Have a good evening.
