Was almost right in this thread. I said Montgomery fucked up by scoring twice in the first half...now he would only get 3 carries in the second half.......well he got 4.....close enough.

Is there a Shanahan guy who's worthy of HC status? Because that's the type of offense I want to see. I want a guy who knows how to scheme an offense based on their own strengths and other team's weaknesses.

With the game on the line, Mitch hands the Lions the ball at the Chicago 7 and somehow the defense lost this game. Foh. The two prior drives netted 14 yards.

Defense played like shit but the offense could have put the game away and instead gave it to Det. The D is done playing for this coach and his dumbass QB.

What does running that play accomplish though, exactly? If they get it they maybe have two plays left, but probably only one. And there always a chance they don't get it, so why not just take your shot right then and there?
It made zero sense.

The offense took possession IN Lions' territory late with a 10 point lead....and punted.
Special Teams returned a kickoff to the 11 - the ELEVEN - and slid to the ground to avoid contact.
The offense gave possession to Detroit inside their own 10.

The D was not good, but thinking this was on one unit alone is ignorant.

The defense gave up 34 points to a bad team,and couldn't get off the field to save their life.
The prior possession to the fumble took 7 plays to score a TD

Im not saying other units didnt contribute, but the D was the biggest factor in that loss

They lost that game
