A shoot out with the Bucs might be the best thing for Mitch.

Make him chuck it down field against a weak secondary and get some of this angst out of his system.

On any given Sunday...... this game will be as close as any NFL game. I think the Bears will win by 7. 28 TO 21. Trubisky has gotten better each game and this is backed by the hard work of Modo, who has posted some interesting data showing improvement. One of these days, Mitch will figure it all out and will leave his training wheels behind. There will be no warning. Things are going to be looking up on offense real soon. He is already better in 3 games.

Better at missing open receivers?

The Bucs will not be able to continue what they are doing....very few short passes....mostly intermediate and a big chunk of long plays.....they are going to have to find another way of picking up passing yards....

I got the Bears winning this one 19-17. Trubersky will likely play like shit once again but the defense will hold Fitzmagic in check.

Steelers gave the Bucs issues for a good amount of the game. What did they do well and can the Bears do that? Fitz's run should be ending soon. He always has a string of great games followed by pure shit. But does he squeak one more out?

The D line is gonna have to be huge so Fitz can't throw it down the field.

And Mitch has gotta click. Their D is awful, 31st in most categories. Need some TDs, not just Field Goals.

Unsure I can pick the Bears though. Sadly. I thought this would be an easier game, with Winston coming back rusty, but then...Fitz Magic happened.

I think it will be another one score game, as will most games this season. My prediction is the game will go to OT, and the Bears will win 26-23.

Intriguing game Sunday. Winston has been a Bear-killer the last few years... especially the games down in Tampa. I believe he will play on Sunday, not Fitz-Magic. On NBC Sports Network postgame show Alex Brown said that he spoke with Warren Sapp, and was told Winston would start no matter what happened in the MNF game vs. Pittsburgh. I DVR'd that game, but have not watched it yet. I know Tampa has many offensive weapons, so we have to be ready, especially the secondary.

Hopefully Arizona was a wake up call for Nagy, and they will run a more conservative offense. I think he is asking Trubisky to do too much, and Jordan Howard needs to still be involved more. If Anthony Miller cannot play, I would love to see Javon Wims get a chance. He looked like a beast in the preseason games.

Bear Down!
Scott

Bucs will be coming off a short week and on the road. Have to like the Bears in this one. I like the Bears against the Dolphins as well coming off a bye week. Pats should be a loss.

The Bucs are going to torch this secondary. Book it. The offense will have to score 27-30 points to win. Do you see Trubisky leading this offense to this may points? Lmao nope. I would run Howard 24 times and keep the bucs offense off the field. That’s my 2 cents and first post of many.

Bears 27
Bucs 21

Mitch Trubisky: 22-33, 217 yards, 2TD, 0INT, 3 rushes, 18 yards.
Jordan Howard: 17 carries, 77 yards, 1TD, 3 receptions, 20 yards.
Allen Robinson: 5 receptions, 56 yards.
Trey Burton: 3 receptions, 38 yards, 1TD.
Tarik Cohen: 5 carries, 29 yards, 3 receptions, 17 yards, 1 TD.

Bears defense gets burned on some big plays but they'll fare well overall, giving the offense some short fields to work with. When the offense gets in the RZ they'll get 7 more than 3, and this will lead to a Bears victory.

3-1 would be a great start , if Fangio can hold em under 20 I think Bears roll. Probably another drama filled ending..

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Southern California Trojans
There's no way Fitzpatrick will be able to keep this pace, and hopefully the regression begins Sunday. If we get into a shootout, I have no confidence that the offense will be able to keep up.
