Maybe that is how the Bears can get an extra pick in 2024. Trade Velus to the Broncos so Bo could pass to an older, more experienced player like the 75 year old Velus.

Given the Broncos’ recent history I wouldn’t rule it out

Penix had one of the best OL and WR core. Then he played Michigan and threw a bunch of ducks when pressured.

The most surprising thing about that game for Penix was that he was able to walk back to the locker room.

Probably.

Receiver group?

Almost definitely. You can add Swift and the two good receiving TEs to the list. It would be hard for a team to have 6 potential weapons.

Minshew is no scrub. Not a long term starter, but I think he can hold it down in meantime. Especially with the weapons he now has.

That's Goodnight for me. Very happy the Bears seem to finally have a competent GM and coaching staff. The QB is a rookie and can't be relied on to win games yet but the Bears have talent.
Doubt we spend training camp talking about kickers and in denial about the accuracy of the QB.

Miami is Hill & Waddle. That’s it.
SF is just Deebo and Aiyuk, who proved he is just a #2 in the playoffs and might be gone.
Philly is dangerous though.
