The demo is f*ckin sweet. I played it for about an hour and a half. Can't wait to see how the game handles on the 360 controller. I hate using the PS3 controller for anything. The damn R2 button pinches the hell out of my middle finger when I play fighting games on it. The whole structure and feel of the PS3 control is just really bad for big handed players.
It's a shame Microsoft and the MK franchise have a bad relationship, would've been cool to have an exclusive character from Gears of War or something. This game needs to have come out yesterday, I've been waiting for this game for years now.

windycity7, where did you hear that babalities and friendships are back? I remember reading Ed Boon's twitter about a month ago and he said they wouldn't be in the game because they wanted this game to be more serious.

PS3 Version To Have Custom Soundtrack Feature!
NetherRealm Studios has announced that the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat will take advantage of the now widely-used Custom Soundtrack feature! Gamers who want to play Mortal Kombat with their own playlists and pull off fatalities with their own background music can do so. Furthermore, this feature is now included in the PS3 demo, so you can get a taste of both the developer music and whatever you choose so that you can decide which you like better before the April 19th release.
No word yet on whether or not the XBOX360 version will receive the same feature, but we will update when that information becomes available.
