I said even the person who made that promise wouldn't be happy with 1 or 2. Not only that, it wouldn't fulfill the promise he made to the world.

They didn't "promise" anything, the guy asked/said what they came to Miami to do.....He didn't guarantee anything. He just said that's what they came together to do.

Dirk finally got the ring he deserves. He earned this one. Same for JKidd. Still, at the same time Miami was pretty much just coasting through. Just a fantastic playoff run for Dallas.

Yeah, but regardless, we did shoot like crap. Missed a ton of free throws too. I still think we got shafted at times, but at the end of the day, we can't just blow 12 point leads in an elimination situation.

I was rooting for the Mavs. They won. I'm happy but I'm not going to live vicariously through the victory as if it means anything to me, as it seems this board and Cleveland is doing.
