They acquired 3 high priced OL starters, are returning both starting tackles, and have 4 picks in the top 72. So, he only values OL if he uses the 10th pick on OL? Some are getting a little closed minded about the first rounder.

3 down 1 to go.

By the numbers: There are 28 edge rushers and defensive tackles in Dane Brugler’s top 100 players, 40 percent more than last year’s class. Ten of those players have first-round grades.

Why are you fully writing off Braxton? People want to give Kmet a chance in the new scheme, does Braxton not deserve to get a chance with better coaching and better players next to him? I'm not convinced any of the first round tackles are automatically better then him., and if Campbell and Membou are gone, then I really don't think the others in the 1st are an automatic upgrade.

He also said that he sees Warren as an in line TE and redundant to Kmet, and stated a better fit at TE will likely be there at 39
Link?

He’s hurt. When he isn’t hurt he’s average. He has a contract due next year.

Kmet has proven more in the league than Braxton

I do think this is why Banks is dropping in all these mocks though.
So, I've heard a couple of evaluators talk about why they are concerned with Banks Jr. Even though the talk has all been about Campbell and his arm length, Banks also only has 33 inch'ish arms. There is more film of pass rushers getting to his chest and long arming him. He doesn't have the base and core strength that Campbell does, and Campbell is much better at hand fighting. The same evaluators were less worried about Campbell's length because he hand fights very well and pass rushers don't get to his chest.

It's from the recent hoge and jahns you can search it on YouTube

PFF guys also do not like him. Per their report he ran the same route over and over in the tape they watched.

I'm not a scout, just letting you know what they have said

He’s Kyle Long’s OL2 and Greg Gabriel doesn’t like him. All I need to know

A lot of people like Grant on here but not sure i've seen anyone talking about taking him in the high 2nd round. Do you think we can get him with our 3rd round pick or think he'd go before that? I do think he's the kind of player that can be higher on teams boards then he is on these draft analysts boards.
Could be there at 72, but I would not count on it. I think the talent level for LT's drops greatly after the first round, that's why I hope Bears can get one in the first.

You're not wrong. Definitely cannot be close minded and reach for position. BPA, positional value-weighted.

How about something like this? Jeanty, Warren, Carter, Hunter, and Graham were all gone. Took Green over Campbell, Banks, and Membou. Green is a riser at DE, we get a great RB, a vg DT (Grant was there too) Wilson is a nice C, a decent TE, too. I kind of love this. 233/240 I have no idea, just took BPA. Tre Harris was an option at #41 as well.

Did you know Kmet has never missed a game? Just a random thing I noticed today.
You clearly made up your mind that the only option is a tackle. Braxton has an ankle injury and will fully recover. The must replace Braxton now narrative is bordering on hysteria now. An average left tackle is really hard to find. A borderline top ten tight end is not. 10 should be BPA and they should take a swing at a pro bowl level talent, not reach for the 3rd or 4th rated tackle that may be a guard.

It's also considerably cheaper to have Kmet than it would be to pay braxton
Speaking of Hoge and Jahns, I was really interested in the conversation they had with Nate Tice. Josh Connerly might have to send Mike some cash if he goes first round.

Just based solely on what we've heard regarding what Dennis Allen likes out of his ends, Green being 6'3" with 32" arms isn't going to cut it.
