And I am asking how you know teams would be willing to trade up to get that? Why would a team give up more draft capital to get Tyler Warren?

The Seahawks lost Metcalf, have OL issues.

The Falcons just blew it with Pitts but I guess they reach for a TE again even though they have DL issues, just lost their starting center to the bears.

The colts don't have a fckn QB but they are a team that would need a TE, I just don't see why they would trade up to get one.
Colts have not had a TE that has been a weapon in their offense since Dallas Clark...............Warren has been mocked there more than any other
team. That offense is bad, and it is not just because of the QB. The cost to move up four spots is not much. You also could argue that Warren is the best receiver in this draft.

The Falcons needed an edge last year also, then took a chance on a QB. Did the Falcons really need a top 10 RB two years ago? This is a team that I can never figure out what the hell they are going to do. The top TE in this draft to help their young QB, I could see it. Falcons are desperate to catch Bucs in a weak division, and desperate teams do desperate things.

Hell, I could easily see Poles/Johnson staying at 10 and drafting Warren if the top two tackles are gone if they feel he is BPA.

The Falcons are in no way trading up to draft Warren. It’s not even possible; they are going to draft defense.

Colts got little production from their TE’s because their QB was one of the most inaccurate passers in league history. I really don’t see a team trading up much to draft Warren.
I have said that about the Falcons for the last two years, and they have gone offense. With that owner you can never figure out what the hellthey are going to do.

Well, isn't it said that the TE is a bad QB's best friend. I believe Colts are very interested in Warren. Colts only have to trade up 4 picks.

W.J is the better corner of the two as it stands right now. However I'd have to factor in his injury history and Hunter has a bit more upside. I'd slightly lean towards Hunter but would be happy with both.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I think you take Banks over him.
Don't tell me who to take! j/k

I won't die on the hill, but I like Conerly a pretty decent amount right now. That said, I like Banks a lot too. I may have let the mixed messages of him not making it as a tackle cloud my judgment though. Before all the noise, Banks was my favorite tackle. And, doesn't need to be said, I don't claim to be an expert in this, but I just feel like Conerly has a high ceiling.

If you look at the visits ( 2025 NFL Draft visits tracker, updates: Full list of every prospect all 32 teams have brought in for meetings )
it looks like a heavy offense draft and Jeanty is a Bear if he falls to us. I'll be amazed if he does.

I've been ignoring the Bears a lot so I don't know the media hype over the visits but you don't bring that player in if you have a policy of no RB in the first no way. You're not wasting his time for an if he falls to the 2nd round.
I would also think if defense was the top pick there would be more top defense in for visits because there's no sure thing for who lasts until #10.

Seems there's only one possibility for defense at #10.
Well, of course GMs do some "tactical" visits for draft maneuvering purposes. It sucks for draftees, but it's just part of what they're signing up for. Plus, they know a GM may want to grab them in the future based on a good interview.

Well Callahan went 3-14 in year 1 and if levis or Brandon Allen is his qb, he'll be fired after year 2. Ward is the only qb in this draft that has talent that could save a HC/GM job. New gm has no commitment to the coach. Real bad situation for Callahan
I think it depends on ownership, and if they are sensible at looking at long-term success over the short term supposed need to take Ward to try to save their jobs.

Ironically, I think trading out and not taking Ward is better for the team’s long-term success.

So yes, the GM should be able to tell ownership that he would rather acquire picks and draft a blue chip player rather than taking a career backup QB like Ward or Sanders (my opinion obviously). Build the team the right way and focus on QB next year.

Now if the GM feels like Ward can be an elite franchise QB, then obviously draft him. But if he thinks that, that would be far more worrisome to me if I was the owner than if he came to me and said he wanted to trade out of the top spot.

Gm can do whatever they want, it's his first year. The ownership has already shown to be impatient and impulsive. Very few nfl teams have patience with gms/coaches.

NO, atl, cincy (unless they plan to use him at G which isn't a good idea and also ignore the glaringly terrible defense)
OBJ kinda sucks in Cincy. Would assume teams are checking to see if he can play RT too since he was only a LT in college

So Jeanty, Hampton, Johnson will have visited.
Bears are most definitely taking a RB with one of their top 3 picks, Ben needs his new weapon.
