I thought he already was with all the bounty money he gets for his late hits

Poles should call them on this bluff and call them up and act like he's interested in trading for Travis Etienne. LOLMaybe, but it’s not just about who is the better player now. It’s more complicated than that or Jeanty would be going to the Patriots. It’s about for how long and what else you’re likely to get later. They have no clear No. 2 WR right now and gave up their pass catching TE. If you take RB first in a deep RB class, you better be super confident you find the right WR2 later on.
Just some other thoughts:
As I said, I think they’re bluffing. I think they love McMillian. If not, well, it is what it is. I’m not giving up a 2nd to get a RB at 5.
- Jaguars are analytically driven under their new GM and analytically driven people love McMillian. He’s #4 on PFFs board, as an example.
- Coen and Gladstone each had RBs last year that were Day 3 picks land in the top 10 in rushing.
- McMillian was the best cognitive test among WRs and the Jaguars reportedly value it a lot.
- Reportedly, Coen really wants his big frame Mike Evans-esq guy.
- McMillian has some of the best jump ball ability in the draft. Lawrence was at his best in college when he could toss it up to his two 6’4 WRs.
- Back to analytics, the analytically driven big board for the Jags has McMillian at 5 and Jeanty at 18.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2025 NFL Draft Big Board: Top 100 Prospects
With the 2025 NFL Draft just days away, we’re unveiling our first-ever attempt at building top 100 big boards tailored to all 32 NFL teams.www.pff.com
Its off by about 160 points which almost exactly matches the value of HOUs later 3rd round pick this year.
I don't see DE as risky at all. Sweat is the obvious starter but Dayo will be playing inside some and he still needs to prove more on the pass rush so we have room for a 3rd DE IMO.LT is a risky pick because they already have a young developmental player there. Once they extend Thuney the interior OL will be blocked for the next couple years.
That makes Campbell and Banks even more risky options because they both could be forced inside to guard. DE is also tricky because Sweat's likely here for at least the next two years and Dayo plays a lot of snaps.
There's a lot of barf with this if you're a Bears fan, and it starts with pick #24 and #28.
Motherfucker hitting the (most likely cheap) bourbon tonight.

Interesting that Kelvin Banks Jr is not in the first round.

Greg is drinking again
Just wait until he drafts Mason Graham! I have read on this very board that he sucks and sucks some more.
Left Tackle? And LT at Texas Christian. Not exactly a football powerhouse
I can’t. He blocked my 6th account today.Ask him “who is Tyler Murray?”
Matt Forte Chris Johnson etc, I could write a small novel of guys who's talent was evident but happened to pick on future accountants and insurance salesman.Marshall Faulk too

Your link is broke
Barf
Edit: looks like they switched this to this mornings mock again
Literally!Your link is broke
Campbell and Banks are expected to play tackle. Even those acknowledging that there's a chance they may need to move inside are very high on their future there, and Campbell has even been mentioned as a possibility at Center.LT is a risky pick because they already have a young developmental player there.
