Yea maybe. I guess it comes down to who is there at 10 and how much they value that player. Unless it's some particularly special player, it's probably hard to get much value beyond the trade charts. Take the Fields trade as an example. The Bears gave up 20, a 5th, future 1st, and a future 4th for a QB that slipped a bit farther than expected. QBs make sense given the premium of the position.

In this case, asking for more than 2 1sts and 2 3rds is aiming high without a pretty surprising player being there at 10. It would need to be a blue chip at a pretty important position. There is a difference in value between 11 to 20 and 10 to 26, but that's equal to about a 3rd round pick. The rest of the trade was a current 5th and future 4th, which would be considerably less value than a current 3rd. So, I don't think asking for the moon would work. And again, the player would have to be so special that they feel the trade has to be for the 10 spot instead of maybe something a little lower.

I’m not saying it’ll happen, just that is the type of package I’d need to move down that far and the price LA would have to pay for not having a 2nd rounder to offer. Those 3rds are fine, but not remotely enticing enough to move down 16 spots in the 1st.

The Arizona receiver is not going near the top 10 IMO.

Taking another in line TE at 10 that's going to need a year to hit his learning curve, when the Bears already have an in line TE.

The Bears need a true FLEX TE not another long and lumbering in line like Warren or Loveland.

I would rather have Arroyo or Gadsden who are both the perfect fits for the FLEX and both will be available well after round 1.

This is the one downside of real standout prospects like Arron Donald, or Brock Bowers. Now every time a first round collegiate prospect with big numbers hits the draft, soyjacks everywhere scream that that TE or DT is the next Bowers or Donald.

Warren is no Brock Bowers, not even close.

Did you even watch Warren or Loveland this past season? Loveland is anything but an inline TE. He was split wide on most snaps as he was an average blocker at best. Warren was used all over the field including at QB in the wildcat formation. Both of these guys are very athletic TE's.

Yes, neither has the straight-line speed of Bowers (Bowers was a 4.53 while Warren and Loveland are in the 4.6 range) but to say either is long and lumbering is disingenuous at best.

If Will Campbell makes it to 7 I think the Bears will move up to get him if they can. That would complete the offensive line transformation. I wouldn't have a problem if they did it.

I think that 7-9 range is where Sanders will go and that may mean a couple teams will be interested in a move.

If the Bears agreed with the assessment that Will Johnson could quickly be better than any DB they currently have on the roster, that would be a pretty strong incentive to just draft him and be happy.

A trade back in this draft, makes a ton of sense too.

Warren is arguably the bigger name, and Penn State deployed him in a number of different ways. But don't undersell Loveland's potential here either.

I’d take Tyler Warren if graham and carter aren’t available which they won’t be!

I personally believe that very good tight ends with athleticism can be easier to implement and are more difficult on defenses.

An athletic tight end has way more advantage over linebackers than most wr’s do vs corners, as a whole.

I think the mismatches are much greater with TE’s over CB’s and LB’s for different reasons- one is size and strength vs cb’s and they’re faster than most lb’.

The difference is greater than best wr against their best cb. Love to see a brick bowers type.

I think,Carter, graham, hunter and warren are can’t miss. Not sure about others, as much as I like Jeanty- I’m not sure top ten is the place to draft a rb. He is great though.

Been reading a little bit about the later round tackles. There’s a few. Emphasis on a few. Ozzy Trapillo, Charles Grant, Anthony Belton, Jalen Travis, Myles Hinton. I’m looking forward to The Beast coming out. Dane Brugler does such a good job with his write ups on the middle to late round guys.
