I wouldn't trade any of their top 4 picks this year
I feel the opposite about #10 - I feel there are about a dozen players I would be OK with at this pick with none being "run to the podium" good value at the spot. If I was Poles and got a trade up offer anywhere between 11-about 21 I would be jumping all over that and let the market decide which one of those dozen players I would have taken at 10 ends up my pick at 11-21.

Big IF though i'm not actually an NFL GM and have no idea how much interest there is from other teams to move up - it does unfortunately take 2 to tango.

I hope they're not eyeing TE as a position in general at #10. Kmet has been underutilized and was signed to a big extension. I know Johnson likes to use 2 tight ends but that's why you picked up Smythe: as a blocker. Brock Wright got 16 targets last year in BJ's offense and that's fine for Smythe.

Grabbing a guy late to add to the room is cool but taking a TE high is unnecessary, unless you think he's a unicorn of sorts. That's what Warren might figure to be for Johnson.
Mine wasn't a suggestion at 10, just that Coleston is probably a better fit and likely available on a trade down.

People seem to be talking him up quite a bit. If that's the case then you might not be able to trade down too far for him. Nonetheless, I don't want another TE. I'm eyeing trenches for the #10 pick.

Jalon Walker is the wildcard, imo. He is such an enigma as a prospect. Insane athlete, who can do so many different things but still learning how to do at least one of them at an elite level. Very high ceiling. A little smaller than Micah but those comps have been made by a few people. Then the question of how he would fit in Allen’s offense.

Walker or Jeanty if both available?

When is this damn draft again?
I heard it was canceled.

Give me Walker all day. Worst case, he’s a great LB for you. Best case, he’s getting you double digit sacks every year.

I’ll take Walker at 10 and Henderson at 39 over Jeanty at 10 and the best available edge at 39.
But if Walker is getting you (The Bears) double digit sacks every year then that would mean Dennis Allen is lining him up at DE, in which case would mean if he's going to line Walker (undersized DE for a 4-3) up at DE then that would put multiple other players in play at #10 if Walker isn't on the board still in M.Green, J.Pearce and others right?

Bob McGinn received some damning information on Josh Simmons.

“McGinn wrote of Simmons: "Removed from consideration by one team for makeup issues. Another team expressed serious reservations. 'Kind of a f-----," said a fourth scout. "His (issues) are more football character. He has a complete bull(bleep) sense of urgency, like a total finesse player. Mental is an issue. Lacks power, struggles to anchor. Fundamentals are poor. Plays like a guy that was at a JUCO and just came here."

My mistake. I'd absolutely trade down from 10, I just wouldn't trade up.

No other team will trade up either though inside the top 10, I don't believe.

I think all that is nonsense bullshit. None of those scouts actually said anything about him other than they don't like him. If the one scout called him a ****** and not a fuckər then he should be fired.

I do think his injury is going to drop him significantly though.

At 6:37 of this video, Matt Miller discusses Campbell, Membou, and Banks Jr. He says Banks Jr. is the BEST offensive lineman in this draft and being horribly overthought. No, I’m not Matt Miller but I agree 100 percent and have stated it here many times. Banks Jr. should be the pick at 10.

Banks Jr. is Miller’s number 8 overall prospect.

Bucky Brooks is another expert that recently spoke out against all the second guessing of Banks Jr.

Banks Jr. makes too much sense. Braxton is rehabbing and in a contract year. Kiran has never had a training camp and played at Yale. They need coverage at LT!!!

Thuney being the LG should help the rookie tremendously too.
Didn't watch the video but it says he has him as his best OL but does he say that's for LT or just says OL?

These pieces seem like scouts trying to get players to drop sometimes. Not sure I trust them

Another poster already made this point, but I feel like media is ignoring the elephant in the room here. Drafting Simmons isnt just gambling that he can make the difficult jump from college to NFL, you are also gambling that at the same time he can have an outlier good recovery from one of the few career ending injuries medical science right now doesnt have an easy answer for.

I dont give a shit about off the field antics if his injury has an overwhelmingly likely result of ~3 years of play left at a lower level of performance than pre-injury. Thats not an acceptable result for the 10th pick and im not a huge fan of fishing for a "well he'll be one of the top 1% recoveries from this injury because ...." pick.
