The more I watch of kollman, the more I think he's a complete moron.

Or an evil genius for mocking a safety to the Bears. Stupid enough to get attention, but the Bears being the Bears you always have this voice in the back if your head that says “maybe”. 😬

Mykel will IMO

Its just a stupid mock for clicks.

I see no way the jags take tet, they just took brian thomas JR and have arguably the worst roster in the NFL.

Also I cant see the Jets take a corner. They just paid brandon stephens from the ravens 12m/yr and have sauce playing opposite corner, unless they plan on drafting a slot corner in the top 10(which is dumb).

Maybe I could see the saints go OT, but they also just drafted FAUGA to play LT just last year, and have a former first round pick from 2022(Trevor Penning) playing RT. I dont see the need, but maybe they already want to move off penning.

Its like all logic has gone out the window.

He says that these teams will pass on skill players that have been mocked to them(Raiders) to get DL/OL. Why the **** wouldnt the bears too?

Didnt aaron donald fall in the draft due to his arm length and height.

Aidan hutchinson also has tiny trex arms and seems to dominate. Guy was one of the favorits for DPOTY prior to his injury

My guess is arm length might mean more on offense for tackles as you need to get your arms on guys, but probably still not really important compared to other traits.

Then run to the podium for Mason Graham. This is a no brainer. Poles would get his mulligan on Jalen Carter
While I believe McShay's sources, I think those convos are probably out of context. The Panthers or Saints are probably singing a different tune if Mykel or Walker are gone... and Mason is still there. I just can't believe Mason will fall that far.

The two major pieces for the Bears are they'd need McMillian and Barron to go top 9. Depending on what anyone thinks of Mykel, he's another name. I'm fairly confident there's enough noise here that Mykel is going top 9 though. But if those 3 are in the top 9, that means Mason, Membou, or Jeanty have to fall. I'm cool with any of them at 10. Personally, I really would want Membou and I'd swap with the Saints if he fell there.

I imagine these are materializing as the 'locks' to go ahead of 10:

Locks: Ward, Hunter, Carter, Walker,
Likely: Campbell, Mykel

Assuming Tet and Barron find a spot, that's 8 guys, which leaves the Bears with the choice above. For talking purposes, even if it's one of Tet and Barron, the Bears still guarantee one of those.

A wild card is Banks. I see him being mentioned in the top 10 more and more. I've seen him mentioned for the Raiders and Jets. I'd categorize that as more unlikely than Tet and Barron at this point though.

It does seem though, that if the Bears are patient, they'll get a good player at 10.

Well, for what it's worth, they brought in an offensive coach whose priority is to get Lawrence right. He supposedly wants his Mike Evans type. Lawrence's best college years were with Higgins and Ross, who are both 6'-4". Coen didn't even mention Gabe Davis the other day when talking about his #2 WR. He said Parker Washington and Dyami Brown. Maybe that's nothing, but who knows... maybe he's already of the mindset that they will get another WR. They also lost Engram and Kirk, so they have gaping holes at pass catchers. I think Gladstone would rather have a defensive linemen given the success with the Rams, but the HC may have the pull to get an offensive guy here. Assuming offense, it's Membou, Jeanty, or Tet. No one else can really go there. I don't think this is that far fetched just cause they have BTJ.

Anyone else scared of Campbell and Graham? I really don’t want either of these guys and their T-Rex arms in the top 10. I understand they are just good football players but their physical traits scare me to much. Someone talk me into these two players please.

I like graham but I do think he’s a bit overrated. I think he’s just a notch below a blue player and I’d hardly be surprised if he doesn’t end up as the best DT in this class. Harmon and Nolen both have higher ceilings IMO

Kelvin Banks, OL, Texas | Ranking: 26

Brugler: “Despite not moving to the offensive line until high school, he looks like he has been playing there his entire life — it wasn’t a coincidence the Longhorns’ rise mirrored Banks’ tenure (Texas’ wins increased each of his three seasons in the program).”

Is he really saying "you can't even tell he didn't play OL in junior high?"

That's such a weird thing to say.

Donald actually has long arms especially for his size…and he had infinitely more production than graham in college. Not to mention was way more athletic and strong. He fell due to his height/weight and really, just pure stupidity. It was obvious he was going to be a stud

I was devastated when the rams took Donald. I thought he was going to be a bear for sure. That pick was a no brainer.

Personally, I worried that at his size, he was going to wash out in the pros. How special he was to be so dominant for so long!

He is a prima facie case for trading up to get the guy you believe in, instead of letting your guy fall to your spot.

The nerd GM played the odds and got burnt. Rams had what was viewed as good DTs at the time and he called their bluff, turns out they had a royal flush.

I’m still holding out hope the Giants trade us pick 3 and we get Carter. I’m fine giving them next years 1st to do this. The question is what else would be needed?

Joe Schoen is GM'ing for his life, and Daboll is coaching for his life. I don't think you see them trading away, unless they really think Jaxson Dart or Shedeur Sanders can be something. I'm more interested in Pittsburgh trading up for either of the QBs.

There’s a lot of room for Mason Graham to be inferior to Aaron Donald but still an extremely good football player.
