I don't think it's hard to envision the rapist falling out of Round 1. No team had him in for a visit. In a draft deep with D linemen, his past may turn a lot of GMs off - or at least convince them not to use a 1st round pick.

I don't know what to think of Nolen except that it seems CCS is higher on him than everyone else is.

Pearce? I have seen him outside the first as often as not.

Well....we soon shall see. That's the fun part.
Well, I did say all 3... so just takes 1, haha. But I don't agree that everyone is low on Nolen except CCS. McShay just mocked him at 8 overall to the Panthers today. Addressing the concerns with Nolen and Pearce directly, McShay says their tape never shows any concerns that they don't play hard.

Mcshay has been pulling more shit out of his ass the last 48 hours than anyone I’ve mocked drafter ever

Oh, I agree. I actually meant to add that all three would be surprising. But some react like any of them dropping out would be shocking, and I wouldn't go quite that far.

This year as much as any in recent memory, it seems some guys are all over the place in mocks, so we shall see what the GMs think.

We all know about Campbell's arm length.

In spite of that, several people have him Top 10 and many of those Top 5. So if the arms are an issue, the general consensus is he's a strong G or C candidate.

I am not advocating for using #10 on him, nor am I ripping my dick if the Bears do. But when I say not risky I mean, you take a swing for a T with a safety net of having him inside, vs some guys who simply don't live up to their draft status.

Draft a T at #10, and you take some degree of risk that he just doesn't end u being very good at all. But in Campbell's case, people seem to believe strongly his floor is a top IOL.

"Bansk has been consistently viewed as..."? Really? The views of Banks are anything but consistent. Some mock him in the 20's while others have him as the top tackle.
Since "we all know" about Campbell's short arms then there is no reason to claim that he will "likely" stay at left tackle. In reality he is just as likely NOT to stay at LT just like most that have had his measurements. If he ends up being moved to guard, locked behind an all pro and a former pro bowl player for the next couple of years, that would be a horrible outcome for the Bears but not the Patriots who need interior and perimeter help. Which is why people have him going there.

Banks was always considered the 2nd best prospect until Membou blew away the combine. Now he is 3rd best OT in a weak overall tackle draft. He is in no way a sure thing to be superior to Braxton Jones, his benefit would be restarting the monetary clock at the position IF he can play there. The fact that multiple people have questioned his ability to stick at tackle the entire process is not a good look. Originally they thought his arm length would also be short but he measured out average, but he still tends to get knocked around and is too slow getting out against speed rushers.

He is a solid OT prospect, but his floor isn't much higher than Amegadjie's was coming out so what's the point of creating a log jam at the position. The Bears have enough guys that can play LT this season and can wait for a better and healthier crop of prospects next season if Braxton is indeed too expensive.

Well, Matt Miller mocked him at 8 too today. Schrager mocked him at 11, over Mason. Schrager is pretty well connected. I'm sure plenty people outside CCS think Nolen is good.

#10, #39, #41... those are absolutely starter level premium picks year one.
I guarantee they all will not be first string starters…

I believe you said first 4 picks.

They will be good players with play time, but they all won’t be 1st on the depth chart.

If you’re drafting 3, yet alone 4 year one starters within your first 3-4 picks, you’re either an upper echelon elite drafter, or your roster is barren. Most likely the ladder.
