I could understand trading up for Hunter because of how unique he is and Carter because of the talent and the premium position. Not for a RB no matter how good he is, compounded by how deep the class is.

If a pass rusher or CB are that special why is the team in that spot letting them go?
That would become a premium price on the pick because you're not only bidding against other teams you're bidding against the team that already has the pick.

The lions traded out of pick 5 back to pick 12 and selected Gibbs.

This is nothing like trading up from 10 to 5 to then grab a RB

Also, it ain’t gonna happen
It is like the Lions in overrating RBs and selecting them high in the 1st.

Browns trade down to 5. Now they will trade down to 10 when they come up again.

No he didn't. Loveland is better than Warren. TE was a shitty pick, but he took the right one

I don’t like it one bit but he’s a much better receiver than Warren. He has better hands, route running ability, and separation.

I think I would have taken his teammate Grant there.

Almost every guy like Brugler, Jeremiah, etc had him slotted right about where he was picked

Jeremiah had him at 7.

That first round went about as bad as it could for the Bears
